I sprinted into the house meeting Ammi and Raliya both sitting in the living room, Raliya's both hands on the face and Ammi sitting next.

With a deep breathe. "Ammi!! What is wrong? I missed your calls, is everything okay?" I asked sitting next to her.

Raliya raised her head slowly and Ammi started. "Where do you keep your phone?!"

"Ammi I put it on silent and I was busy in school" I brought out the phone and reset it to 'vibrate', " ana asif.I'm sorry!" I apologized.

She sighed. "It is not your fault, the problem is with Raliya". That was when I realised Raliya's eye were bloodshot, looking drained, and sobbing. My heart hitched. What is wrong with her?!

"What is wrong with you Raliya?! I asked but her response were more sobs.

"This is the way she has been acting and she never answered my questions". Ammi said.

I moved to her sit and held one of her hand. "Can you tell your sister what is wrong?" She held my hand tighter and continued sobbing. "Then if you keep crying, I will assume you didn't take me as your sister", And she shook her head. "But before that, you will have to go and wash your face", she nodded and stand to go to the toilet, "And promise me you will not cry again" I added whilst she nodded and left.

I sat there waiting for her, a part of me was happy that she would be able to speak and a part of me was very sad for her. I really doesn't want to see her like that, and Ammi was thanking Allah that she would finally get to know what was wrong.

It was already Maghreb (4th obligatory prayer) time, when she finished and we went on and prayed together. I entered my room to change my clothes and I changed into a simple gown, after all, I had a long day which in normal days I would just bounce on my bed but with the current situation, I had no choice. Just as I was about to exit the room, I heard my phone vibrating (yes I've learnt my lesson), I answered after seeing the caller ID.

"Hello" I said and Sadiq responded.

"How are you?" He asked.

"I'm fine". I wanted to tell him about Raliya's incident but I decided to kept shut.

"I wanted to tell you that I'm going to Turkey tomorrow for my internship preparations, in case you didn't see me in school", He stated.

"I thought you have to graduate before doing that?" I asked sounding confused.

"Uhmm! yes, but Graduation is on the corner and we have to start preparing for that, you know 'the earlier the better'".

"Ohh! yeah, Good luck and safe journey ". I said.

"Thank you, Good night and sleep well".

"Okay bye". I smiled and hung up. I dropped my phone on the bed and exited the room to meet Ammi and Raliya.

"Well!" She took a deep breath "I don't even know, where to start from!". She said, she looked more better after we prayed and I was thankful for that. I smiled, though it didn't get to my eyes as I was engulfed by pity for her.

"You can start wherever you want habibti". Ammi said beside me.

"My mom used to work at Aunty Hafsat's house as you all know which is blocks away from this estate, she is kind hearted and always nice. Years ago, ita ta sa ma mama ta kawo ni daga kauye. she was the one that convinced my mom to bring me from the village, and she also put me into a secondary school not far from the house for evening classes, that is after I'm done working here. She usually get into one or the other problems with her husband, though I heard that he has a 'mistress' that he used to live with her in one of his mansions and that was what triggered her, she couldn't take it anymore and she left the house '2 weeks ago'. shine mijinta ya kawo 'mistress' dinshi. That was when he brought his 'mistress' and immediately the commotions started".
