I stiffed for a brief moment looking at the person opposite me, who kept staring right at me all this moment as the little girl's question rendered me speechless. "No!". I subconsciously said, which startled everybody and surprised me too. I shifted a bit on my seat to her side. "Uhmm... You know what, you shouldn't talk when you are eating okay?". She nodded and continued eating carefree without knowing how her question made me feel so uneasy."Amrah, what did I tell you about questioning our visitors?". Aunty Umaima scolded. I guess I wasn't the only one that faced her route of questions.
I smiled. "Its okay". Just then my phone started vibrating, which served as my savior. I swiftly excused myself and escaped from the awkwardness. I walked to the living room, and answered Raliya.
"Hello, what happened Raliya?".
"We are through with the Iftar and everybody left". She informed.
I sighed. "Alright, that's great Raliya, till I come back".
"Okay Aunty bye". I hung up feeling restful and walked back to the dining room.
"What is it?". Aunty Asiya asked.
"Raliya said they are done with the Iftar and the people have left".
"What happened?". Aunty Umaima interjected.
"Actually, Ikhbal is giving charity Iftar every Ramadan, so she left it for her housekeeper to handle it today". Aunty Asiya stated.
"Wow that's so good of you Ikhbal". Aunty Umaima said while Khalil watched me impressively. "I hope Allah reward you on your good deeds". She prayed.
"Ameen". We chorused. We were served with dessert, which obviously was what the kids wanted.
"So, Amrah how many fast have you done?". Khalil asked.
She hold her chin thinking and calculating with her fingers. "Four!". She gestured with her hand.
"She's lying, she did only two". Ammar said nonchalantly.
"But I did two the other days yaya Ammar". She grimaced.
"You break those half_way and that doesn't count". He said sounding matured than his age.
"Okay, what about you Ammar?".
"I did all, plus today that's 20". He bragged. Khalil high five him while Amrah folded her arms and sulked beside me.
"You know what Amrah, when I was your age, I can't even fast a whole day without feeling like dying, so you really tried to fast twice". I stated.
"Really?". And I nodded. "But can you fast now?".
I laughed. "Yes I can".
"So can I fast like you?". She asked again. Maybe we are back to her questions theory.
"When you grow up like me you can fast the whole month". I said while her smile brightened and she pulled out her tongue at her brother.
Khalil grinned at us. "Okay now, what about we play some games". He suggested standing.
The kids squealed and stood to follow him, while Amrah dragged me with her, leaving the women only in the dining room as I let her dragged me to the game room.

The game room was exceptionally big, a huge plasma TV at the wall, with verily many varieties of Games. Khalil went over to one of the lockers and brought out a chess board.
Chess seriously?!
I stood by the snooker table watching them. "This game is boring Ya Khalil". The kids said in unison as if they heard my thought. He looked at me questionably, clearly asking for my suggestion and I just looked away, I have no idea, why his gaze makes me uneasy.
