"Rise and shine Angel!". Wajdan said aloud, opening wide my curtain.

The sun rays blinded my sight and I turned to the other direction. "Did you have to open the curtain?!". I groaned and sat on the bed.

"Oh! Yes we do because we can't just let our bride_to_be sleeping on her wedding week". Layla said and sat on the bed. "Now, you get your bride_self up, get into that bathroom and get yourself ready because we are going out!".

"Where are we going to?". I asked the duo.

They shared glances. "What a bride we have here?! For your wedding preparation silly". Wajdan said and brought out an Ipad from her bag. "All we are doing for today is written right here, Ohh! Layla please inform Raliya to get ready too". She said typing on her Ipad whilst Layla placed her phone to her ear calling Raliya who was just a room from mine.

I shook my head, stood up to the bathroom, peeking at the Ipad whilst she concealed it from my sight. I brushed my teeth, took my bone relaxing shower and exited to my closet. I stood for a moment contemplating as usual, precisely saying of; When you have lots of clothes but no outfit. I took a kimono and an inner dress, tapped a bit of a lip gloss and applied my eyeliner.

"Alright, we are going to the Salon first and.. Wait! We are not making your hair now, your hairstylist is booked on the wedding day, so you will get your manicure and pedicure done, then next we are going to the mall. Layla did you booked the henna designer, she is to come in two days". Wajdan paced around the room whilst I sat on my bed munching on my breakfast, which Raliya made deliciously for me and watched the trio pacing about my wedding preparations.

"And don't forget the spa, because the wedding dresses will arrive today". Layla reminded.

My wedding dresses were sewed and ordered from Egypt, hence my Grandfather, Anna and Aunty Salma wanted to have an event in Egypt because many of my relatives wanted to witnessed it but I preferred the events to be held here in Nigeria, besides they will just flew here to attend it.

"Wajdan, where is Lujaina?". I asked.

"She wouldn't be coming today because she had to go for a check up at the hospital". Whilst I nodded.

Lujaina was months pregnant because they were expecting a bouncing baby boy as said by the Doctor, and we were all overwhelmed by the amazing news that will happen to them, hence Zayn was one heck of a joyous and overprotective one and obviously couldn't wait to be a Father.

"Alright, so Khalil arranged a limousine for our shopping and stuff, so I guess its time for us to go". Layla said and stood up to the mirror fixing her veil. "Pretty we don't have the whole day!". She whined.

I took my last sip from my coffee, dropped the tray on the table, which Raliya took to the Kitchen and I took my purse. "Okay I'm set".

We took off to the breathtaking limousine added with the nice driver and we hopped in as we were majestically ushered in. The drive to the salon was literally fun with our mini ladies toast of juices and snacks. We strode to the luxurious Beauty Salon stroke Spa, which we got high trendy and professional services by the proficient employees, as we got our skin waxed, pampered, hairs styled (I exceptional, as declared by the bride's maids that mine would be bride_ishly_ different), we got our manicure and pedicure done, with bone relaxing massages and we rounded up with our glowed baby_like skin and feeling rejuvenated.

We literally dragged ourselves out of the mall, with the amount of bags in our hands. And afterwards we drove to the lounge for our mini ladies hang out.

"That will be 2 events right?". Layla asked sipping her juice.

"Yeah, the reception and bridal shower". Wajdan answered pressing her phone. Perhaps I and Khalil both agreed on only one event because we didn't want the wedding to be extravagant, but with the bridesmaids suggesting the bridal shower, that made it two events.

I answered my ringing phone with Zainab calling and gave the address to the restaurant. "Okay so the henna party is next tomorrow".

"Yeah, and before we waste much time here, the Groom Family are bringing the boxes today". Wajdan reminded.

"Okay, Zainab will be here before we leave".

Zainab entered the restaurant after waiting for her for awhile. "Hey guys, I'm sorry I was late, I had to literally escape from my in_laws to_be at the mall". Zainab said as she side hugged us.

Zainab was also getting married months after, though she was engaged before me and surprisingly to one of our course mate but a master degree student when we were in school whom I never anticipated, perhaps he was a caring and kind person which was peculiar to me and Khalil.

"Don't worry, lets leave now shall we".

We exited the lounge and headed to the limousine. Perhaps Khalil's credit card would rest a bit, hence he persuaded the 'bridesmaid' specifically to take his card for the preparation as I wouldn't agreed on that and likely with his net worth, that wouldn't tip on one of his many credit cards.

"Thank you for the ride". We thanked the driver and with the help of the new wedding helpers, they took the bags into the crowded house. We strode through the crowd of relatives and friends with literally greetings from every corner.

"Oh my god! Look at our bride looking all beautiful". Aunty Asma'u(Abba's eldest sister) cheered the minute we entered the living room whilst Aunty Amina(Abba's elder sister) smiled.

"MashaAllah she is beautiful". Some women besides them whom I assumed their friends complimented. "She is really worth the amount of the boxes". One of them added motioning to the uncountable boxes around the living room whilst we greeted them, after I was cheered with compliments from the women, we literally escaped upstairs.

"Uhh! Subhanallah, I'm super tired!". I laid back on my bed.

"Oh my god! Ikhbal, did you see your boxes?!" Zainab exclaimed sitting on the bed while Raliya agreed.

"My mouth was agape downstairs, they actually filled the living room". Wajdan added. "MashaAllah Ikhbal, I can't wait for the wedding and to be an Aunt..".

I huffed awkwardly. "Don't worry, Lujaina is just some months away".

"I know but I'm looking forward to your babies too cause I'm hearing cute babies alert". She teased and the ladies nodded in response whilst my phone rang interrupting our conversation.

I excused myself to the balcony. "Hello Khalil".

"Hi Ikhbal, how is my bride doing?". He asked while I stirred shyly as if he was seeing me.

"I'm fine, You?".

"Never been better, how was your ladies outing today?".

"Alhamdulillah, the henna party is next tomorrow". I leaned on the rail.

"MashaAllah, have fun will you? And I can't wait to meet you as my bride". He said calmly whilst I felt the pit of my stomach.

"Goodbye Khalil!". I hastily said, amidst his laugh I ended the call, exhaling deeply.

"Awwn! Your Khalil wouldn't do minutes without hearing his bride's voice". Layla said.

"And MashaAllah they make the best couples". Zainab added.

A moment after, Aunty Safiyya knocked on the door, kept my wedding dresses that has probably arrived from Egypt in the room which were in a breathtaking luxurious boxes and informed us that I should change as I was needed downstairs. And when I did changed into a bridal styled gown, we walked downstairs where it was blathered with ballyhoos while they unclosed the jewels from the boxes as that was the beginning of MY wedding.
