The two of them got off the bus, Aiden looked at Cayden while the other's eyes wandered. He smiled.
"It's really you"
Cayden nodded. He didn't know how to feel, part of him wanted to cry while the other wanted to cheer for joy.
"I met your mother the other day" says Cayden.
"I know...she told me. But turns out we've met on that bus without knowing"
Cayden nodded. It's a small world after all.
"You smell of anesthetic, I'm assuming you're in the medical field"
"Yeah....what about you? We haven't talked in years, we should catch up"
Cayden glanced at Aiden. The man had gotten taller but still retained his youthful face.
"I know a cafe we can go to"

"Aiden just sent me a text that he met with Cayden"
Tucker smiled. The couple were currently under a fleece blanket on the couch.
"Do you think they'll be more than friends this time? I remember you saying they acted like a couple back then"
Jade nodded. She always knew Aiden had feelings for Cayden. Although the two boys were young back then, she could tell by their behavior, sure it can be just friendship feelings but now Aiden and Cayden were grown up, they can do whatever they want.
"Whatever he decides, we'll stand by him. He's been single for so long, i was starting to fear he'll end up alone"
Tucker pulled his wife closer and kissed her on the forehead.
"He's lucky to have a mother like you"
"Thanks, i think what happened with us in the past is the thing that drives me to be a better mom"
He sighed and closed his eyes. Memories of his young age flashing in his mind.
"We shouldn't think about those things now, what you went through is unforgivable and I know your parents regret what they did to you back then"
She smiled. Jade had been through physical and emotional abuse from her family. Why? Because She decided to transition into her true self. They shunned and ostracized her. Each morning she'd ve woken up by a bucket of cold water on her bed, slaps, insults were all too much for her.
Then one day she met Tucker, a young man from a wealthy family who took care of her and the two eventually fell in love. Tucker took Jade away from her toxic family and gave her a new loving one. Once Jade had transitioned, they got married and after a year later of IUI, they received their first bundle of joy. Then Jade's family wanted to meet Aiden. She didn't let them though. She wanted nothing to do with those people.
"Jake said he's coming home for the weekend, it's been long since I've seen him"
"I'm sure boarding school has taught him some discipline by now"
They laughed. Jake, their youngest was a little menace. One time he poured castor oil in Jade's pasta, the family had stomach aches all night.
"I wonder if he's also gay?"

"So how have you been? How's your mother?"
Cayden sighed.
"She abandoned me and left me at a shelter. I barely hear from her, I'm sure she's out there enjoying life"
Aiden frowned. Winona wasn't in Cayden's life? How could she leave him like that.
"Do you like living at that shelter? I have plenty of room at my place"
Cayden shook his head.
"We've just met...i don't want to bother you with my needs. Plus I help Sandy back at the shelter, she needs my help"
He nodded. Just then someone came to their table with plates.
"Cherry pie and apple pie" said Jaxon.
When Cayden and Aiden walked into his cafe he had just reopened a few minutes ago, he admits his ego took a blow. Aiden was far more handsome than him and it seems Cayden was more comfortable with Aiden than him.
"Delicious as usual Jaxon" says Cayden. Aiden smiled.
"You come here often? We'll come here everyday day if you want"
Cayden's eyes sparkled and he smiled.
"I'd like that, you should try this apple pie, it's very good"
Before Aiden could respond, a spoonful of pie was stuffed in his mouth. Jaxon stood there, shocked. So these two were really an item. He walks away, defeated.
Aiden moaned in delight.
"You're right, it's very delicious. Have some of mine as well"
Cayden opened his mouth and Aiden fed him. Aiden's eyes were locked on Cayden's lips, the cherry jucies had glazed the soft pink skin making them stand out more, the way they moved made his mouth dry.
"It's very delicious"
Aiden blinked.
"I know right? Try some more"
They sat there, feeding each other pie for about an hour, their loud chatter and laughter made the other customers smile and coo at the cute scene before them.
"I don't think i can eat more pie, i should head back home" says Cayden.
"Do you want me to walk with you?" Aiden asks.
"We go on the same bus silly, let's go" Cayden says pulling him by the hand.
It was gently snowing that evening, Cayden spun around letting the snowflakes fall on his hair.
"You're going to get cold" Aiden scolded him.
"But atleast i had fun" he smiled.
Aiden shook his head chuckling. He joined Cayden, the two spinning in the empty sidewalk.
"I bet i can catch one in my mouth" Aiden says sticking his tongue out.
"Your tongue will freeze and fall off"
Aiden's gasped. Was it true? It must be because Cayden seemed to know lots of facts.
"Really?"
Cayden laughed.
"I don't know, but i bet i can catch more than you" Cayden said and walked ahead laughing softly.
Aiden frowned.
"You cheat, wait for me!"
Before they knew it, they were in the bus. Cayden was all smiles and so was Aiden.
"Should we meet tomorrow?" Cayden asks.
"I have work tomorrow....but on Saturday I'll be free"
"Okay. I'll meet you at the cafe"
"Or i can call you?"
"Oh...uhm, I don't have a phone"
Aiden took out his phone and handed it over to Cayden.
"Take mine, i know the number so I'll call you...don't worry i have a work phone."
Cayden smiled and took the device. His first phone from his first boyfriend....wait....what?
"Next stop!"
They both sighed. Cayden stood up.
"See you on Saturday"
Aiden smiled.
"I'll call you"
Cayden got off the bus and walked towards the shelter, the phone in his hands made him smile.
"Saturday"
Back at the bus, Aiden chuckled as he looked out the window. Being with Cayden was like the two had never separated before, it felt right. He couldn't wait to see Cayden again.
"See you on Saturday"
