Summary: SCP-124 is a plot of extremely fertile soil with the ability to grow anything organic, plant or animal, rapidly. The average organism grown in 124 is also of better quality than the average organism grown in any other way, i.e. tastier fruits/vegetables, and perfect biological specimens of animals, including humans, although growing humans in 124 should never happen again. 124 requires no sunlight, water, or pesticides to grow what's planted in it. Untrimmed hedges were planted, and they became hedges trimmed to look like hedge sculptures. Grass was planted and grew to a lush lawn in seconds. A puppy was planted, resulting in a fully grown dog of the same breed in perfect health. A human fetus was planted and killed multiple personnel before being terminated. Some hard candy was planted, and it grew into a humanoid construct made of candy. A fly larvae was planted, causing a Level 5 lockdown in the facility.
Usefulness: Extremely useful for farming large amounts of foods quickly. Could be used to end world hunger, or at least cripple it significantly, but you and I both know the Foundation would never do that.
Against 682: Reread what happened when a fetus and fly larvae were planted, then you tell me if planting anything remotely similar to 682 would be a good idea. DENIED.
