Summary: SCP-155 is an electronic construct made of a supercomputer, a radioisotope thermoelectric generator, and an unknown device. 155 was made by Prometheus Labs. When a program is executed using 155, it creates a sphere of influence around itself that speeds up the passage of time, rapidly accelerating until it approaches what could theoretically be classified as infinite speed, after only 8 minutes. 155 is dangerous, however, as heat/radiation generated by 155 accumulate during its use, then are released all at once at the completion of the executed program, resulting in what could be expected were you to be extremely heated/radiated in an instance. On one instance, 155 was accidentally fed a program that resulted in an infinite loop. Once the error was discovered and 155's processes were halted, the release of heat/radiation melted 155's containment chamber, killed 11, and destroyed an entire wing of the site it was being held in.
Usefulness: According to reports filed by Prometheus Labs employees, they used 155 for calculation jobs that would have taken lesser computers months or even years to finish. How they were able to control/lessen/deal with 155's negative attributes is unknown. Until a sturdier containment cell is constructed, 155 isn't to be used for any Foundation projects.
Against 682: Nah.
SCP-155's supercomputer.
SCP-155's radioisotope thermoelectric generator.
Component discovered within SCP-155's unknown device. Research regarding said device is ongoing.
