Summary: SCP-130 is a post office in South Africa. 130 maintains itself without human intervention. 130-2 refers to the packages that appear in the mailroom 5 times a week. 130 has an anomalous Outgoing Mail slot as well. Any package inserted into the Outgoing Mail slot will inevitably disappear and reappear days later in the stack of -2 packages. -2 packages inserted into the slot will be anomalously teleported to their address's corresponding post office on Earth. -2 packages are often undeliverable due to nonexistent addresses or addresses that didn't match the names of the people currently living there. -2 packages ending up in these post offices also had an odd postmark not seen anywhere else, as they originated form the anomalous post office. Opening/damaging a -2 instance not addressed to a subject, or removing it from 130's premises, results in said subject disappearing instantly, then reappearing days later inside a -2 package labeled "Return to Sender" with a "Postage Due" tattoo on their back. Subjects will be found and remain comatose until the correct amount due is put in an envelope and inserted in the Outgoing mail slot. Counterfeit currency introduced to the mail slot will result in lethal reaction by 130 and additional fines being incurred. -2 instances may be taken from 130 if they are processed correctly and transported away from 130 in a vehicle marked with the post office's insignia. Untouched -2 instances will automatically teleport to their respective post offices after a day. Dead letters/packages, from both the future and the past, have been discovered in -2 bundles, which explains why some addresses don't exist and some names don't match the addresses that do exist. Any mail addressed to Foundation Sites/Personnel should be sent to the Site Administrator. Any mail addressed to [REDACTED] should be sent to the Level 5 Supervisor. -2 letters/packages may contain information on events that haven't happened yet, and a 2/3 vote from the O5 Council is required before any action is taken to prevent said events. Mail containing the code-phrase [REDACTED] is to be sent to Site Overseer immediately, without being read. Screening of threats present in each letter is crucial before sending.
Usefulness: Extremely useful when receiving important letters about future events, but only if the O5 Council allows for action to prevent said events.
Against 682: Maybe force 682 to give 130 counterfeit currency. The specifics of a "lethal reaction" aren't included in the article, so nothing's off the table. Maybe forcing 682 to destroy a package from 130 will cause him to stay unconscious forever, so long as we don't pay his "Postage Due". We can only hope.
