Summary: SCP-150 is a parasite resembling the tongue-eating louse that's adapted to form symbiotic relationships with human hosts during its lifespan. 150 will embed itself in its host's flesh and burrow into it for a week, causing physiological changes. 150 will consume the limb it burrowed into, slowly replacing the entirety of the limb with a replacement made of chitin. This chitin is seamlessly incorporated into the host's body, even connecting to the host's nervous system, allowing the host to control the new appendage, often with improved strength/reflexes/resilience. The process of limb replacement is painless with no chance of rejection, as 150 secretes painkillers and immunosuppressants during the transformation. During the next two weeks, 150 will consume/lay eggs in the blood vessels in the new limb, riding the bloodstream to all other parts of the body and transforming them as well, causing the occasional loss of motor skills/discomfort. 150 spreads via deposited eggs in the lungs that are expelled when the host coughs. 150 will eventually even assimilate the nervous system, including the brain, but the host's personality/memories stay consistent somehow. The only reported changes via 150's introduction to the body are positive ones. Hosts aware of the infection have no negative feelings towards it, and those unaware don't report any discomfort. Everything in the body is nearly identical post infection, except the fact that the host's body has been entirely replaced by instances of 150 and the chitinous compound. A brain transplant was conducted between two subjects infected with 150. Upon completion, the recipient of the brain had the memories/personality of the other subject, and the transplant was almost seamless. However, after a few seconds, the transplanted brain gurgled, parted, and retracted into itself. The subject never regained consciousness. Introducing 150 instances to 150 instances from different hosts is no longer allowed.
Usefulness: Useful in strengthening/reinforcing a person's body, but since it's impossible to confirm whether the host actually retains their consciousness, this isn't advised.
Against 682: No.

Brain recovered from fully-converted host. (Note: Brain was pulsating post removal.)
