Summary: SCP-153 is a species of nematode that populates sewer/drain systems. 153 instances can eat any organic matter, but prefer meat. 153 instances excrete a highly acidic substance from their mouths and can camouflage themselves both inside and out. 153 instances camouflage as shower/bathtub drains. First, they dissolve the existing drain cover, then they take the form of it, waiting in the drain for the next human to take a shower/bath. Once the subject enters the shower/bathtub, the specimen, through redacted means, consumes the individual, leaving nothing behind, after which they recede into the drainpipes. Recent incidents involving 153 specimens suggest they've been taking the form of sink drains/toilet pipes/etc. Research is ongoing.
Usefulness: Currently, a breeding research program has been approved, wherein 153 instances are bred with an emphasis on genetic engineering and organic waste disposal. This program has already shown progress, as 153 instances have been allowed controlled release in SCP-2717's containment chamber to stall its spread.
Against 682: We don't need 682 learning to camouflage as drains, since its containment cell consists of several of them, used for the draining of acid used on 682.
Camouflaged instance of SCP-153.
