Summary: SCP-152 is a large, leatherbound book, consisting of several descriptions of possible apocalyptic events detailing the extinction of humanity. The entries are in chronological order, the first recorded being a detailing of the spontaneous failure of the sun in 6000 BC. Many entries deal with SCPs, while the others detail your run-of-the-mill extinction events, like nuclear warfare or global pandemics. The descriptions include events specifically leading up to the disaster, then detailed accounts of subsequent events until the last human is gone. 152's text appears in whatever language its reader is comfortable with. Most of the information in 152 is accurate, obviously except for the resulting apocalypse itself, which would have happened had slightly different decisions been made, seemingly inconsequential without context from 152, like the Butterfly Effect. 152 cannot be written in or even engraved by lasers, instead it self-updates. This same anomaly keeps 152 safe from any forms of decay/degradation. The inability to physically harm 152 has made it impossible to determine its age. It's theorized that 152 exists outside of our dimension and possibly transcribes apocalyptic events from other realities or, if String Theory is to be believed, 152 exists in the universes that never were due to our reality's choices negating them. This theory is corroborated due to the dates new entries are added as being matching dates for when the last human died according to 152 itself. During self-updates, 152 disappears and reappears in the span of 1 second. The reason why is unknown.
Usefulness: As 152 details how exactly the world could be ended by certain SCPs, as well as the actions of both the Foundation and GOIs, 152 is extremely useful as a source of information.
Against 682: Like I said above, if an entry appears about 682, we'll know more about him, although I don't know how much that would prepare us for if he did destroy the world one day.
