Summary: SCP-128 is an intangible source of kinetic energy, the source of which appears to be an ordinary hamster (accidentally terminated during initial containment.) This kinetic energy affects any nonliving solid materials in 128's line of sight (with the exception of corpses and powered robots, as it seems 128 can't tell the difference between what's actually alive and what appears to be alive.) Line of sight can be blocked by any opaque material, nullifying the effects. Any and all objects that fit these criteria will be propelled at extremely fast velocities in random directions. This will invariably cause harm to any living thing without sufficient protection that is hit by said objects. Something as small as a coin could instantly accelerate faster than a machine gun bullet. Larger objects are expelled much slower and have the potential to cause much less damage. 128 cannot be confined to a space with less than 2 centimeters in radius. Should 128 be confined to such space, its anomaly will begin to affect dust particles withing its containment chamber, leading to an exponential increase in heat, until the containment chamber literally explodes from the sudden increase in pressure. 128 has a preference to accelerate new objects over old ones, but overall it will arbitrarily choose which objects to affect. The working theory is that 128 used to be able to control the kinetic energy, but once it was terminated, the kinetic field became constant.
Usefulness: 128 has no control over its ability anymore, and even if it did, it's a hamster. It's not like anyone could control it if they wanted to. Right now, it just poses an incredible risk. God forbid its field of effect increases or accelerates objects even faster. Unless this energy could be harnessed and controlled, it isn't useful to us.
Against 682: 682 himself would probably be considered "alive" by 128, and thus wouldn't be directly affected by 128's effects. It's not as if we haven't tried concentrated gunfire to kill 682 already, and it didn't work. Doing the same thing with marbles and coins like some discount Gambit seems redundant.
