Summary: SCP-139 designates the anomalous disappearance of Foundation security specialist Lucian Saxe. 139's corpse was never found, nor have its past/present whereabouts been discovered. Leading up to its disappearance, 139 acted suspiciously during and after work hours. After clocking out for the last recorded time, 139 left a paper trail, informing Foundation investigators that 139 traveled from Albany to Topeka, being described as "that traitor" by interviewed locals. A police report in Tucson is the last known record of 139 currently. According to a letter retrieved from the Tucson USPS, 139 ran due to a pattern of mistrust against the Foundation and feelings of being targeted. The letter details how 139 planned to defect to The Serpent's Hand, an organization that embraces the anomalous rather than attempting to hide it from the public. With as much knowledge on the Foundation as 139 had, and the fact that 139 themself is anomalous, this was unacceptable. 139 thinks they can run and hide, but they can't. 139's corpse was discovered under Site-97, alongside the Foundation keycard belonging to Lucian Saxe, references to a ritual that would preserve a human spirit post-death, and a map of ley-lines connecting the spirit world to the mortal world, with a circle drawn around a nexus in Tucson, AZ (Rerouted to a pocket under Site-97.) Over 1000 decomposed human eyes were discovered in a pocket near where 139's corpse was found, with perforations in the wall, allowing the eyes to gaze upon 139 until their expiration. DOCUMENT UPDATED: 139-Ω is Lucian Saxe, currently being tracked and observed by the Foundation. PROTOCOL "All Eyes on Lucian" has ended, PROJECT "Loose Ends" is in progress. Neutralizing 139 is of the highest priority, but this has been difficult due to 139's mobility/incorporeality. But 139 become victim to the All-Seeing Eye. 139 thought it was so smart. 139 thought it escaped. 139 thought it was in the right. 139 betrayed Site-97. We see you, Lucian. 👁
Usefulness: 139 was useful to us, but 139 tried to betray us. 139 is a traitor to everyone who tried to help it. 139 got what it deserved.
Against 682: Giving 139 to 682 would be too good a punishment for it. We have bigger plans for 139. 139 will pay. 139 has paid.
