Summary: SCP-149 is a species of mosquito carrying a strain of retrovirus (149-A) that causes regenerating human cells to mutate into fertilized mosquito eggs. When 149 feeds, -A is injected into the bloodstream, warping the DNA of any cell it enters. The first set of regenerated cells are concentrated in the throat/sinuses and resemble cysts. These cysts contain 149 larva and only serve to protect the larva in them. After a few hours, the 149 instances mature and exit the host's body via the mouth/nostrils/eyes. This continues until the host dies. 149 infection is 100% fatal, but only infects hosts in 50% of bites.
Usefulness: Not useful at all. I don't know why we don't just kill these things already.
Against 682: 682 can no doubt hold millions of instances of 149 just from a single bite, and he's recovered from worse. We aren't using 682 as a glorified mosquito farm.
Instance of SCP-149.
