"Are you sure you want to leave?" Aubrette asked them, as Sybilla and Izabella finished packing up their things. Sybilla had been mostly asleep throughout the ceremony, only passing at the end of it to let her know the both of them had almost finished packing up their things.

"I'm sure. Zander needs to know what happened, plus I dont think I can stay here much longer without loosing my mind." She said. "Iz will keep me good company."

"Yes, I will" Iz said. "No more deviation trips for you" she said, wrapping her final bag. "I do which you'd had more time to get to know them though. You caught them at a bad time"

Sybilla smiled sadly. "We'll see each other soon enough" she said.

Aubrette smiled, hugging them both. "After this shift I promise the three of us will go and just stay in a cabin away from everyone for a whole weekend"

"Not just us tree. Heaven and Phoebe deserve a break form the boys too" Syb said, making them both laugh.

"You're right"

Aubrette walked with them to the entrance of the manor, just near enough to be able to spot the portal at the distance. "Dorian said Nev already had your horses saddled, and ready to go. You should find them without much problem"

"Thank you Bree" Iz said hugging her again. "We'll see you soon. Please write us as soon as you know the outcome. We'll try to be ready to come kick Belial right into the void. Hydra or not"Aubrette tried to laugh as she nodded, but the words only left a sick sinking feeling in the bottom of her stomach. Izabella walked back leaving the two of them waiting.

Sybilla sighed as she threw her arms around her, hugging her tighter than she had in very long. "Are we okay?" She whispered.

"Of course we are." Aurbette said, hugging her back with all the strength she had left. "Sybilla. Do me a favor... I know Zander must be feeling as if he has no one left. No family. But I, I owe him a lot for having been a friend to you when I couldn't and I just want him to know in case something goes wrong in the shift that you are not the only family he has left. I am too."

Sybilla laughed, stepping away. "I will, but he already knows that Bree. Don't worry about it. And please do come back" she said, fear crossing over her face. "I... it was really close wasn't it?" She whispered, almost not wanting to know.

Aubrette sighed. "I'm okay now. And I'll be okay. Everyone says Belial is more bluff than anything"

"What about Morte and the necklace?" She said.

"One problem at a time I guess" Aubrette whispered, hugging her again. "Now go. We'll see each other again soon. I promise"

"Okay" Syb said, letting go once more and walking back to were Izabella waited. The two of them glanced back one last time before jumping off and portaling out. Aubrette turned around staring at the manor's entrance, not sure if she was ready to face what waited for her inside, but walking forward any way, one step at a time.

The manor had turned into complete caos. Whichever the result was, there would be a coronation tonight, and they all seemed to remind her of it with every turn she took. The ball room had turned from a barely lit, dark setting from the night before to a raging red orange and pink, all colors of Infernum, the table had been removed, leaving only the chairs for the new head to appoint their circle.

Aubrette stared at it from afar, trying to picture herself sitting on it, with everyone watching as she pledge herself to the hollow, but as hard as she tried all she could see was Phoenix, sitting with her feather dress winking at her from afar. That'd been the most she'd seen her smile. And now, now she'd had to defend the position she'd lived and trained and breathed for.
