It's more of a Drabble but here you go! The backstory of our power couple.

[ 2016 - Airport, Berlin. ]

You hurry to walk towards the group. You can already tell the building is swarmed with not only the other half of avengers, but also the shield agents.

You see your sister listening to something Clint is telling her, she's not paying attention. You might be considered the serious one of the three but that doesn't mean you like to scare her a little bit.

You stand behind her, careful not to trigger her own powers. You get close to her ear. 'Boo..'

She startles and lets out a yelp making you laugh. 'ty sumuvala za mnoyu sestra?' (Did you miss me sister?) you ask in Sokovian (actually Ukrainian..)

'ya mih by tebe vbyty!' (I could've killed you!)

'ty prodovzhuyesh mriyaty..' (you keep dreaming..) your hands rest on her shoulders while your head rests against hers.

'It's good to see you again Y/n...' Steve greets you with a small smile.

'Good to see you too...'

Bucky's head spins upon hearing your voice. He feels giddy all of the sudden, he won't let it break through his broody demeanour, but he can't deny that it doesn't bring out an old part of him.

Your eyes cross his. You give him a small wave while your lips turn into a small smirk. 'Khto tse?' You send a signal to Wanda's mind. You obviously don't want to get caught.

'Winter Soldier...' she replies simply. You nod with a small hum. 'And the other one?'

'Sam Wilson... Falcon...'

'What's she doing?' Sam asks while crossing his arms, he's a little bit weirded out by the fact that you and Wanda seem to communicate without even talking.

Bucky isn't at all surprised. He may not know much about the witch sisters but he figured they'd have some connection to communicate through.

'Winter Soldier is cute...'

Her eyes bore into his. There's this mischievous glint in your eyes that wheels Bucky in. He doesn't even remember the last time he felt this way around women.

Sam glances at Bucky and has to hold back his lighter. He will admit that you're pretty and most certainly have some fire in you, Bucky would be able to handle that just fine. But he also has to admit that he finds it funny that Bucky gets so flustered around you.

'Okay so while we suit up... Y/n could you do me a favour and tell me how many people there are at the airport?'

'You mean avengers or shield agents?'

'Both..'

'Magic word?' You tease.

'How about "now"...' Steve teases back.

'Please?' Bucky asks and your head turns to him with a small smile. 'See Steve? Most men your age have class...'

'Ha ha... now would you please do it for me?'

'Okay...' you chuckle before giving Bucky a wink.

'You go change into your suits... I'll scan the area for you...' you step back a little and raise your hands a little.

You close your eyes and take a deep breath before your powers surge through you and out of your hands. It casts an indigo glow around your fingers.

Bucky can only watch in awe, while everyone is busy suiting up and getting ready, Bucky stands there staring at you.

'Six of the superhuman kind, like a dozen shield agents... you want me to take them out?' You ask Steve.

'And by take them out you mean....?'

'I will shut them down without killing them, they will be unconscious for two hours...'

'You can do that?' Bucky marvels at you.

'I can do that and many other things...' you flirt back.

'Do it...'

You twist your hand, all around there are bodies dropping down to the floor in places you didn't see any agents yet. One even falls down to the ground from higher up, he must've been on a stakeout.

'Wow...'

[ 2023 - Apartment, New York]

'Oh did you remember it that way?' Bucky taunts. 'I remember it very differently... you were all over me... fawning and stuff..' he teases.

'You wish! I did not fawn over you, I just told Wanda that you were cute is all... you didn't even hear it... if anything, you were stumbling over your words...' you get that mischievous smirk on your face again. You crawl over the couch to get to him, well as much as you're able to do so.

'You were getting all giddy...' you run your hand up his chest. 'If anything... you were fawning over me...' You straddle him.

You try to lean forward and kiss him but your belly presses up against his, you're not able to move further.

'You did this to me...' you whine once you try again to kiss him.

'I'm sorry sweetheart...'

'Liar..' you huff with a small smile. 'Anyway... you're still as cute as you were the day we met..' you cup his cheek, he leans into your touch easily.

'You're still as feisty...' he replies. 'And still able to make me feel like a schoolboy...even more so now that you've got a mini you or mini me brewing in there...' he places a hand on the side of your belly.

You let out a content sigh. You've got it all now. Back then you seemed so far away from a happy life with anyone. And now, almost eight years later, you're having that happy life.

Sure you had obstacles, the government, then Zemo and DIY Steve, your sister holding a whole town hostage, but you gained a happy life with Bucky after those obstacles.

You have an apartment with your husband Bucky, you're almost done with the nursery and the baby is due in about a month. The world is at peace, for now. You're at peace.

'What are you thinking about, doll?'

'Nothing, just this thing we got going on here... I believed I'd never get to have this.. and now I do...' 

'Then that makes two of us...' he shifts a little so that he can finally kiss your lips.

'And by the way... how did you know I was all giddy? Did you look in my head?'

'I didn't have to... I just knew...'
