Okay on with the story:

'We will talk after school, I promise... now go before Miss Jacklyn has to come and scold me for dropping you off too late...' you kiss Anna's head.
'Okay mommy...' she smiles. She may look like Steve but the personality is all yours. The whit and sassiness included.
'I love you Sprout...' you speak as she strays further from you.
'Love you too mommy!' She waves before joining her classmates.
You watch her for a moment. Your heart swells with pride when you see most of the girls interact with her. She has loads of friends. Boys and girls. She's a social butterfly.
You raised her to be this amazing girl, on your own. Well with some help from Bucky. But still most of it is your doing.
She looks back at you and waves again. You smile and wave her goodbye before she enters the school. You take out your phone and check for any messages from your coworkers.
You glance at the school one more time before walking to your car. You get your keys and unlock the car, the light blinks a couple times which means that it's already open.
You frown at it. You're sure you always lock the car. Maybe you're labelled paranoid but Steve always made sure that you locked the car. It's jammed into your head.
You take out your phone again. This time you dial the only number you know you can trust, even if he works with Steve, he has been doing so ally his time but you trust him.
'Y/n?'
'I know... I know it's weird for me to call you but... I just dropped off Anna at the school... I swear I locked my car... I mean you know how determined Steve always was when locking things... this could be nothing but...' you rushed through that sentence.
