'Are you alright, flower?' You hastily check her over, hands trying to find any harm on her.
She still stares at her outstretched hand and Strucker laying a few feet away. Her eyes are wide while her breathing slowly dials down.
'I... how did I do that?' She breathes. She retrieved her hand while keeping her eyes on it.
She can't believe she knocked Strucker off of his feet with her own magic. All she knows is that she didn't want you to get hurt. She didn't expect so much to come out of a small gesture.
'I don't know... but we have to move... he won't be happy when he wakes up...' you tell her before you take her hand and lead her to the back of the cabin.
Aurora helps you saddle the horse as fast as possible before you untie the reigns and lift her to sit on top. You hop on after her and make sure she's sitting comfortably before tugging the reigns.
'Where are we going?' Aurora asks as you turn to the small path leading into the thick, dark forest. She scoots closer to you.
'I'm going to take you back to the castle... it's the safest for you..' You tell her while speeding up.
Usually she would fret once she hears your plan on taking her to the castle but now she stays quiet. She just holds onto you.
'I'm sorry, Flower.. I wish we could do this differently...'
She again stays quiet and you can not blame her for it. This girl has been kidnapped, she escaped and then barely survived, you took her in but now she's being hunted down again and to top that off, she found out her powers are stronger. Already at this age, you've only seen that once before.
You hear a male screaming in the distance, undoubtedly Baron Strucker. It leads you to tighten the reigns and make the horse go even faster.
'I'm scared...' she confesses, to anyone else it would've sounded like a quick breath from her, but you heard her.
'I know you are, but I will protect you... I won't let them catch you again, ever...'
