'Don't blame them Y/n! They don't understand!'

You lived a peaceful life right upon this wicked hill.

A large castle passed down for generations by your family. You inherited it with pleasure but now you roam the halls like a ghost, seeking vengeance for what was once yours.

It gets lonely, the stone only growing colder by the day. A layer of dust slowly settling upon everything in the house that you haven't dared to touch.

Solitude is the only thing however keeping you from sending another devastating shockwave to the town people below. They've changed upon having their new royals over the years.

Royals that don't condemn magic if it is used accordingly. For doing the good deeds, harmless magic. Queen Wanda herself has ordered so. But it came a century too late.

The town folk already took your beloved and turned them to ash. In return you had done them the same favor. You've fought so hard to keep your magic a secret..

You can't help however the feeling growing inside that something is yet to happen.. perhaps again...

'This seems like the only house with some decent place to stay...' Tony speaks up as his eyes settle upon the castle.

The rain and fog around the place makes it look like something  straight from a scary tale in his opinion. But what can you do when the village is completely full and the weather is getting worse the longer the group remains outside.

'Seems abandoned to me, but as you said it's decent looking and big enough for all of us...' Natasha marches past him, knocking him square in the shoulder as she walks right up the the big wooden doors.

'This place seems vaguely familiar...' Loki frowns. Where has he seen this before?

He hesitantly follows the group already moving into the large and intimidating structure. As soon as his foot goes over the doorstep he feels like he's coming home. He senses a strange familiarity with this house.

'The place has been empty for years...' Steve hums as he wipes his finger across a shelf. 'Look at all this dust..'

'And yet it hasn't started truly decaying.. be careful..' Thor booms. His voice carrying through the hallways.

Your head whips towards the sound. Your body moving on its own accord. Nobody has been here in years let alone someone has let themselves in this place. How dare they!

You move silently through the house you've grown to resent. How dare they cross your misery, how dare they enter something that belongs to you.

They feel different though, which manages to peak your interest.. slightly only of course. Humans will never fully be interesting for you, they never have.

You turn the corner and are met with a small group of people. They turn to stare at you with wide eyes.

'Good to know someone lives here..do you need someone to tidy the place up for you? I can send a letter..' the tiny man with the glowing chest speaks up.

He gets elbowed by a pretty redhead. She shakes her head with a displeased glare.

'Uhm.. hi..' the blonde, tall man tries to make contact.

'We're not here to rob you or anything..'

Your eyebrow quirks at the man's remark. He isn't very muscular to begin with, but he is hiding something within him.. something green?

'What he is trying to say...we're not here to harm you, we didn't know you lived here.. we just need a place to stay and well.. the villagers aren't very kind..' the bow guy, you name him is now in turn to talk.

You scoff. 'Seems like you aren't either..' you glare at the tiny man again.

'We are truly sorry my lady...' the other muscular blonde breaks in. 'The villagers don't take kindly to us sleeping there because of.. our powers..'

'They're not exactly willing to take the risk just yet...'
Your head whips around once again. Your heart sinks as your eyes grow big. It couldn't be... you saw him suffer.. you saw him perish..

'Malachi..?' You breath.

'Loki, actually...but good guess..' he remarks. He slowly takes your hand as you gawk at him still. He brings it up to his lips in a proper greeting. 'Now is truly the moment you tell us your name..'

'Y/n... my name is Y/n...'

'It is a pleasure to meet you.. Y/n...'

It's like a burden falls from your shoulders, even if he isn't your Malachi... his once matches the one you loved hearing so much. And just hearing it speak your name so softly. It is like a warm hug, one of the things you have longed for all this time.

'I know this is a lot to ask of you Y/n...' he continues. 'But we do need a proper place to stay.. would you allow us to stay?'

Your eyes dart between his. Still in disbelief of his presence matching Malachi's so perfectly, you nod. 'I'll let you...but only for tonight...'

'That is most kind of you.. Y/n..'
