Feyre had successfully retrieved the ring from the Weaver while Eve had stuffed popcorn into her mouth. Way to feel good, she thought bitterly. Oh well. She was to meet Az later... they were taking things slow. No labels- just how Eve liked it.

"Hey, how you feeling?" Eve asked as a tired Feyre entered the room. "Been better." "Here, have some popcorn, will make whatever it is better." Feyre gratefully took the bowl offered even if she wasn't hungry.

"So, how was your day?" Feyre asked. "Dull, boring, repetitive," Eve answered with a sigh. Feyre chuckled, "mine has been anything but." Eve gave her a sideways smile.

"I'll probably go buy a jacket and then go to work," Eve said. "A jacket? That's very specific." Eve nodded almost solemnly, "it is my comfort clothe." Feyre just shook her head in amusement. "Come on," Eve said after a few moments, and jumped up. Feyre looked at her curiously where? "Well, to help me buy a jacket duh," Eve said, offering Feyre a hand which she accepted.

"Hmmm... color you hate the most?" Eve asked as they exited another shop. Feyre gave her a look of surprise, now this was a new question she thought suspiciously. At Feyre's look Eve added, "favorite color is just too common and boring a question, ya know?"

Feyre chuckled before saying quietly, "red." Eve didn't know what it was but Feyre became subdued after that question. In hope to divert her newly-acquired friend, Eve said even though Feyre hadn't asked, "I don't have one. Although, I hate wearing black dresses... they don't suit me, Prussian blue on the other hand," she whistled. Eve did look great in a blue dress.

"I thought you liked black?" Feyre asked. Eve nodded, "I do, but not for dresses."

"Oh. Hey! That's a cute jacket!" Feyre pointed to one hanging outside a store. Eve grinned, "perfect."

"So, how was your day out with Feyre?" Az asked as Eve positioned herself on the balcony's ledge. He sent out a few shadows to make sure she didn't fall down.... She had no regard for her life sometimes, Az shook his head.

"Hmm... was good, I like her. People like her don't deserve half the shit thrown at them," Eve said and Az nodded. Feyre did deserve better. "What about you spymaster? Any opinions?" Az' lips twitched up a bit.. he liked when she called him spymaster or Shadowsinger or Az or Azriel... he liked whenever she called him by any name really. It sounded so sweet on her lips.

"She is resilient and brave." Az said. "Maybe she will find solace in the Night Court with us," Cauldron knew Rhys had found his solace in her well-being... at least, that's were his money lay. "Maybe, hopefully." Eve commented.

"That is a lot of frill," Eve observed as the Inner Circle got ready to go to the human lands. Mike and her had wanted to visit... maybe there they would find human companions.. also, they were sick of not being able to leave one place since two years. It was very frustrating really.

Feyre shrugged distastefully, "that's what they were in the human lands." It's like going back to the medieval age, Eve thought. "Well, good luck with everything, Mike is waiting for me," and with a quick nod, Eve hurried out.

She had been searching for the idiot for the past few minutes and when no soul was to be found she shouted, standing in the living room, "MIKE!" It resulted in a male entering the room... who wasn't Mike. "Have you seen that idiot?" Eve asked, he was late. They were supposed to meet and fly down before the guys left. Well.. Mor could winnow them later but that wasn't the point.

"Sorry, nowhere to be found," Cassian said and Eve groaned. "You alright there?" Cass asked her, a bit concerned. "Oh no, I am fine. Great actually.... I just got another short story idea," Eve started off. Cass was about to ask her what it was when Rhys and Az entered.

"Ready to go?" Rhys asked. Cassian nodded. "See ya'll later Fae people," and with a salute, Eve left, returning to treasure hunting for her best friend in the entire universe.

Az watched her. He knew they had decided on no strings, no exclusiveness but, he longed for one. He longed to be able to act like a proper couple with Eve. Sighing, he made his way to the foyer where his brothers now waited with Feyre... ready to fly off to the human realm. He wondered if Eve would have wanted to go. Maybe spend some time away from Velaris as he couldn't help but feel that if would help ease her homesickness. Right?

"So, tell me again, how is this a romantic novel? You said you had been working on a romantic novel," Mike asked after he read the summary of Eve's book idea.

"Well, it isn't completely a romantic novel. I mean, the ghost of the lover kills the lover out of jealousy in the end when the lover tries to move on but... before the killer became a ghost or a killer... they were in a good, cute relationship with above mentioned lover. So, there is that," Eve explained. Mike shook his head and then smiled. "I would read the shit out of this book." Eve squealed and hugged him. Her best friend liked her idea and would actually take the pain to read it? Great!! A mini dance!

(A/N: I actually had the above plot idea one day. inspired from an insta reel prompt ... m working on it now ... tho.... how is the plot actually???)

"So, what we doing till the time others return?" Eve asked him. "We.. go.... Get... drunk!" Mike proposed much too enthusiastically. Eve sighed, although Mike saw the smile she tried to hide from him.
