"Can't you drive faster?!"
Everyone inside the car flinches in fear as they fearfully glance at the pop star who screams at her driver for what seems the nth time already.
Her manager, Chahee, looks at her artist in confusion. Jennie just suddenly barge inside her office demanding to know who and where 'Lalisa Manoban' is. And bring the woman in front of her- Of course, Chahee Lee being a manager, naturally knows who Lalisa Manoban is.
The entertainment industry is a small circle- with her line of work, she's obligated to know the talented people that she can help work her artist with. And Lalisa Manoban is no doubt a golden one- she graduated with her Bachelor of Film at some high-rank University overseas.
Win respectable awards and finally achieve the '2019's Seran's Best Photographer/ Videographer'- Besides, Lisa's popularity isn't to be trifled either.
She works behind the camera but her social media is to die for naturally gorgeous without so much to hide. Good with her style and smartness- it's no wonder that the people like her.
But what Chahee doesn't understand is- Why does Jennie Kim, the actress under her, want to know the starting photographer's whereabouts?
Jennie's not the curious type- she rarely cares about anything and doesn't really pay attention to anyone. She minds her business and lives with her own circle of people, that's why she's unapproachable.
So for what reason does Jennie want to see Lalisa?
Of course, Chahee has asked the brunette already! But alas- if not a rude glare or a nonchalant 'Can you do it or not? You're wasting my time, Chahee, I could just call someone else if you can't'- Jennie gave her no response!
"Jen, Calm down, will you? I don't even know why we're heading to Miss Manoban's apartment I already did all you want and besides! You're scaring everyone off with your tone! We can't go any faster than this or we'll have someone tail us!" Jennie glares at her manager but Chahee just matches her gaze. She's known the brunette since 2nd-year college, that's also the reason why Jennie picked her(Chahee) as her(Jennie) manager.
Jennie rolled her eyes annoyed- she gave up the scare and frustratedly glare outside the window. Frustrated and annoyed with how long she still needs to wait until they reach Lalisa's apartment.
Seeing the brunette back down softened Chahee a little- but she needs to understand why Jennie's being such a b*tch with everyone just because of some newbie photographer. Although she already emphasized that Miss Manoban has a talent and is really popular- she's still far from someone like Kim Jennie.
The two are a universe away with their reputation and image in the industry!
Sighing in confusion and frustration to know what's really up with the actress- Chahee decided to ask again. "Seriously, You have to tell me what's up with you and Miss Manoban. We can't risk a scandal this time, Jen. You're having a tour!" Although her tone was soft- she raised her volume and Jennie's not in the mood to even argue with the other woman.
Jennie thinks for a moment before deciding to tell her manager what's really up. She thought it'd be an advantage to her if Chahee knows what's happening with her and Lisa. After all, she's still a public figure, she can't exactly go out without being mauled by her fans. So Jennie faces her manager.
"Fine, I'll tell you once, don't make me repeat it."
Chahee nods impatiently, she's been dying to know what happened and what makes the Korean International Star like this- so moody and in rush.
Rolling her eyes, Jennie spot the apartment building of her girl nearing, "I hook up with Lalisa, I want her, she's mine." And with that, the black travel van was put to a halt. Jennie took the chance to climb down- wearing her disguise as she pointedly gave the other woman a blank stare. "Now move! If Lisa escapes me again, I'll blame it on your slow ass, Chahee."
