1.13 Final Confrontation Pt. 1

A/N: Part 1 of 2 of the final chapter for this story.

14th Oct 2021 7:00pm (Sykkuno POV)

After finishing our meals we all said our goodbyes outside the restaurant, we had all planned to meet again next week at EDC, it would be the first time that all five Cleanbois would be together in person and we were beyond excited, it would also be my first music festival that I've ever been to but Leslie said she'd take good care of me there as she was sort of a pro when it came to festivals. We all shared a group hug and Corpse took the photo, showing his hand in the frame making a peace sign, Tony and Brit were the first to leave, they had gotten an Uber to the airport as they had to catch a flight back to Chicago soon, the next people to leave were Blau and Tea, they said goodbye and drove off with a slightly drunken Ray in the backseat as they were taking him home. Once they had all left it was just Rae and I, as well as Corpse and Tina.

Rae, Tina, Corpse and I were all sitting around a small table outside of the restaurant as we were planning what to do with Sonii, Rae had texted him asking him to be at her house tonight so that we could all talk to him about Rae and I's relationship, we had decided that Rae was going to tell him that she no longer loved him and she loved me now, I was going to be there so Sonii could see us together and to ensure that he wouldn't hurt her. If I wasn't enough to stop him from hurting her or if he tried to hurt me then Corpse and Tina would be waiting in the other room on standby to rip his head off, Corpse was just the scary face but Tina was the real monster, she would go berserk if anyone touched a hair on mine or Rae's heads, Sonii would have no idea what was coming.

Once we were all ready and Rae had figured out what she wanted to say she took my hand and we headed over to the car, ready for war. I was feeling pretty exhausted as I've been driving around for most of the day so Tina offered to drive instead, Rae and I had gotten in the backseat of the car and I put my arm around her, pulling her into a side hug while she rested her head on my shoulder as she shared her AirPods with me, we listened to both of our favourite songs, mine being Inochi no Namae by Jeremy Ng and her's being Coming Home by Skylar Grey, it was actually a good song, not that I didn't think it would be, after all, Rae always had the best taste. Since the drive to Rae's house was about half-an-hour I rested my head on her's and closed my eyes, drifting off to sleep.

7:15pm (Rae POV)

Sykkuno and I were cuddling in the backseat of the car, he said that he was tired of driving around for the past two days so Tina offered to drive instead, he embraced me in a side hug so I rested my head on his shoulder, I offered him one of my AirPods and told him to play his favourite song.

Rae: "Here *gives him AirPod*, take this."

Sykkuno: "Thanks! What are we listening to?"

Rae: "You tell me!"

Sykkuno: "Huh? What?" He said confused.

Rae: "What's your favourite song baby!" I said grinning.

Sykkuno: "Oh... Are you sure you wanna listen to it? It's kinda sad..."

Rae: "That's fine by me! Mine's a little sad too." I exclaimed.

Sykkuno: "Okay how about this? I play my favourite song and then you play your favourite song!"

Rae: "Sounds good to me babe!"

Sykkuno: "Alright then, it's called Inochi no Namae." He said as he typed it in on Spotify.

(I didn't know Sykkuno's favourite song but I heard him playing this on his guitar one time.)

Rae: "Oh that's that song from Spirited Away right?"
