3.5 Private Tutor

A/N: Thank you guys so much for 15k reads!! I truly didn't picture being at this point when I started five months ago, honestly I do this for myself, but it does make me happy to know others enjoy my stories. 20k is the next goal, make it happen guys and gals.

Also happy world book day (UK), I guess it's fitting to say that here, on Wattpad, where we are all essentially authors of much less popular books, not all but still, I guess you should probably read this since you can't just not read a book on world book day, anyway, I'll shut myself up now.

15th December 2009 4:30pm

A whole two days had since passed from when we last saw our lovers, two days that were, for the majority, spent with Thomas and Rachel together, whether they walked to school together, or walked home together, whether they met up for lunch at school, or whether they went home and had some... alone time in their parent's absences.

Now though? Thomas and Rachel were hanging out at Rae's place as they often did after a stressful day of school, luckily Rae's mom always happened to finish her work at the local elementary school at around four to six which allowed Thomas and Rae to spend a lot of time together doing 'things' and 'stuff'.

On this particular afternoon however, Rae and Thomas had found something to do other than exploring each other's bodies, Rae had a film studies assignment due in which she had to talk about the ending of the movie and describe the hidden themes behind it, it could be any film of Rae's choice but Rachel didn't like watching movies alone, so she told Thomas about it who was more than happy to help out by watching together and giving his thoughts, though Rae cared less about that and more about spending time with him instead of being alone as always.

Anyway, both Thomas and Rachel were currently sitting in bed together, Thomas had his arm draped over Rae's shoulders as he was pulling Rae into a side hug, to which Rae gently stroked Thomas' stomach while her head rested on his chest, both watching intently as the movie came to a close in its final minutes, Rae already starting to think about the deeper themes and hidden meanings of the movie's ending, as was Thomas too.

"So?" Thomas broke the long-standing silence between the pair after the movie had finally ended and the credits began to roll with a question that could be anything.

"So what?" Rae, not understanding Thomas, asked for clarification on his vague question.

"So what did you think? Come on, tell me all about the ending!" Thomas finished his question, clearly enthusiastic and supporting of Rae's project which he showed with a beaming smile on his face as Rae slowly sat up to meet his eyes.

"Hm? I'm not sure... why don't you tell me what you thought of the end and then maybe that'll help me?" Rae had already thought up a scheme in her head to copy her unassuming lover's homework, metaphorically speaking of course.

"Okay... well I thought that the protagonist retiring but then the final scene showing the wall of guns was clear grounds for a potential sequel, but mostly it just seemed like the bad guy was on a path of redemption, he was only the way he was because of nature vs nurture, he wasn't nurtured correctly and that's why he was evil, but he seems as if he had a good nature so maybe in the sequel he could even work alongside the protagonist and they could show his redemption arc in that one." Rae simply smiled as she watched the boy she liked so much go into such detail about the movie she had just watched, though she continued with her next step of her schemes.
