2.30 Epilogue

A/N: Unfortunately can't read the last chapter because I accidentally deleted it, I might rewrite it sooner or later if I can be bothered, I just wanted to do an epilogue for this story to show where it truly ends for them because the finale sucked.

11th August 2021 8:00am (Rae POV)

"Wake up sleepyhead." Sykkuno shook me awake gently, last night was amazing, it was everything I ever dreamed it would be, I didn't know he'd be so good at it, my boyfriend is so good at everything he does! My boyfriend. Mine.

"Hey." I looked up at him smiling down at me, embracing me in his arms as my head rested on his bare chest, he didn't even flinch a little bit no matter how much pressure I put on his scars, thank god, I couldn't bare it before when... ah that doesn't matter anymore, what matters is I have him, and he's mine now, Sykkuno is mine, it's what I've wanted for longer than I can remember now. And it's finally true.

"Did you have a good night?" Sykkuno asked, still smiling, beaming those perfect, pearly white teeth right at me as if he wasn't inviting me to kiss those soft lips of his, did I have a good night? Duh! Of course I did! I was with you!

"I did. And you?" I returned his question back at him, grinning like crazy though he didn't give an answer, not a verbal one at least, instead he placed a kiss on my lips and rubbed my back gently, a ticklish sensation overtaking the area as he started tracing circles on my skin, making me feel some kind of way for sure.

"You know? We have all the time in the world now that we're together, why don't we go at it again?" I slyly asked, referencing back to the great night we shared as I expressed my wishes to do that again sometime, and by sometime I meant right now.

"We could. Or we could go out for breakfast for the first time as an official couple? Which one do you prefer?" Sykkuno posed an ultimatum of sorts, though I had already made my mind up in my decision, I know what I wanted.

"Do you even have to ask?" I stated the obvious, prompting him to smirk before giving into my desires.

"Fine. One round and then we can go get something to eat." Sykkuno attacked my lips with a deep, passionate kiss before I had time to reply, I only let out an agreeing hum that sounded more like a pleasured moan more than anything else.

Oh I'm gonna enjoy this. As always.

15th Jun 2022 2:00pm (Sykkuno POV)

"Hey." Rae nudged me in the side as we walked down the strip, just leaving the place where we ate lunch at with Corpse, Emma, Toast and Miyoung, I'm just glad that Miyoung was able to overcome her own personal issues, she's been so much of a better friend recently and it really makes me happy to see it, she wasn't always the nicest person but I'm glad to see that has changed.

"Hm? What's up?" I asked, taking out my AirPods and hearing all the background noise flooding in, car horns, police sirens, bicycle bells, the wind, classic Los Angeles.

"Happy 10 months babe." Rae brought up how we had been together for 40 weeks now, it's been a crazy time, from getting over all of that stuff to moving in together to announcing our relationship publicly, it really has been the best 10 months of my life, I'd never trade it for anything, and I mean anything.

"Happy anniversary my love." I pulled her in for a side hug, prompting her to rest her head on my shoulder as we continued down the street, as happy a couple as any.

I try not to think about him ever, why would I? But I do wonder where he is now, even after all we've been through, is it crazy that I hope he's okay? Or at least living, after all, he may as well have been just another victim of abuse like me, but I'll still never forgive him, I'm just curious where he is.

(Richie POV)

"I'll get out of here one day! And you'll pay Rachell Hofstetter! You'll pay for putting me in here! You'll pay! All of your friends will pay! Thomas too! I'll murder him then defile his body! I'll cut him up into pieces and send them in individual boxes to your very doorstep! Wherever that may be! I'll find you!"

"Inmate 640862! Quiet! Any more disturbances will not be tolerated and will result in a beating! Shut it! Continue after that and I'll have to see a judge about extending your sentence! Vile abuser!"

(Sykkuno POV)

Meh. He's probably fine. He's not worth thinking about anyway. Not after what he did. I haven't heard anything since before Rae and I's first date, which is a good sign, maybe he just moved to a different state, whatever, I'm happy with my amazing girlfriend, what could I possibly need him for?

(Rae POV)

I'm so glad we're never gonna have to deal with Dick again, calling the cops on him was probably the best decision I ever made, and I can't believe he got sent to prison without Sykkuno ever getting involved, that's my real anniversary present to him, never having to see that asshole ever again, for as long as we may live.

At least we can just be happy, that's all I've ever wanted for us, and now that's a reality, I love our life, I'd trade nothing for it, absolutely nothing.

A/N: I know it's short and simple, I just kinda wrote this chapter on a whim, with no plan or idea, I just felt like writing something and I figure this is good enough, it basically wraps up the story for them, they're happy, Richie can't touch them, happily ever after I guess, which is something they both deserved in this story what with all their trauma.
