A/N: Jesus the last two chapters and this one are all set in the same day I tried to stop doing that since my second story was just like that but I promise this is the last, and if I can write it well enough it should end in a pretty cute way but I could fuck it all up.

3rd January 2010 2:35pm

The time was 2:35pm, the bell had just rang and school was officially out for the day, Rae and Thomas hadn't seen each other since lunch, since... all that happened with Jeremy, nor had they seen Jeremy for that matter, it was a shame, Jeremy was Thomas' one real friend besides Rachel, but now? He couldn't just be friends with him, not after he was blackmailing Thomas' girlfriend into doing his bidding, how could he remain friends with someone who would do such a thing as horrible as that is.

Anyway, Thomas had decreed through text that he would meet Rae at the car, though she saw the message, she didn't respond, worrying Thomas that something may have been wrong, it wasn't hard to see why that might be the case, regardless, Thomas ventured out of the high school doors and travelled directly into the school parking lot, exactly where he left the truck that morning, he certainly wasn't expecting today to go how it did that morning, but who knows? Maybe the day was still saveable.

When he approached his truck Thomas' eyes immediately landed on Rae, who was leaning against the front left fender of the vehicle, looking as if she were staring into a very deep space with her arms crossed, ignoring the fact of which she looked as if she was in deep thought, Thomas slowly walked up to Rae, asking her just one question.

"You ready to go?" Thomas asked, though a few seconds went by and he received no reply, not even a single gesture, not a twitch, a movement, the barrier that enclosed her could not be broken with just words alone, with that in mind, he asked the same thing again. "Rae? Are you uh... you ready to leave?" But even still, there was no answer from the short teen.

With words clearly having no effect on the girl Thomas instead opted to gently reach out and grip Rae's shoulder, immediately prompting Rae to jump and be taken aback by the sudden movement. "Whoa! Rae? You alright?" Thomas questioned Rae once again, followed by Rae taking a couple of seconds to acclimate to her surroundings as she looked all around her, as if she wasn't sure where she was, though she soon regained her ability to speak after.

"Huh? Oh... hi, I- I'm fine, completely... completely fine." Rae sheepishly replied after regaining her composure, earning a look of skepticism from Thomas who knew that she was likely anything but, which Rae also happened to notice with her reassurances of her previous statement. "Really, I'm fine Thomas." Rae put on the fakest smile that Thomas had ever seen, he knew what a real one looked like from her, seeing how he was usually the main cause of her performing such an action like that.

"No, no you're not." Thomas called Rae out on her lies, and she didn't even try to hide it as her smile dropped to a mere frown, prompting Thomas to question Rae again. "So how did talking to Miyoung go earlier?" Thomas questioned Rae, whose ears immediately perked up at the mention of Miyoung's name, as well as that an apprehensive expression came across her face, followed by some words of what was distress.

"Well... I sort of... didn't... say anything? I'm sorry! It's just, I didn't know how to!" Rae apprehensively explained to Thomas, exclaiming to him after she had revealed her truth, followed by yet another unhappy expression from her, a glum frown, her facial expression prompted Thomas to take a quick look around and notice that the coast was clear, and after he did so he turned back to Rae, pulling her into a warm hug which went unreciprocated by Rae for a few moments, though she soon warmed right up to him and held him close.
