3.19 Suspicions Running High

A/N: I want to get back into the habit of writing smaller chapters, couple chapters ago they'd be like a maximum of 5000 words, now they're all much longer than that which I dislike, so this chapter will *hopefully* be a shorter chapter, and when I say that I mean anywhere between 3000 to 5000 words, happy reading this!

Sunday 9th January 2010 8:30am

Rae's eyes slowly fluttered open that next morning to a beautiful sight, Thomas, staring deeply into her eyes as her reflection was casted back into hers, his fingers splayed through her hair, twirling each individual strand around his fingers before smoothening said strands out, his nostrils gently exhaled air out onto Rae's face, the combined actions made Rae let out a gentle cat-like purr as she smiled, though her smile soon turned into a giggle as Thomas then questioned her on what was so funny to the girl.

"What's funny?" Thomas asked her.

"Nothing." Rae continued to giggle to her full extent. "I'm just so... happy right now." Rae explained as to why she was in such a state, an explanation which similarly caused Thomas to burst into a giggle too, as they did for the next few moments.

Once the couple's shared laughter had died down Rae asked the boy how long he'd been awake. "Have you been up long?" Rae asked him.

"Only five minutes or so." Thomas answered Rae dishonestly, he'd been up for at least a half hour before that, simply watching her sleep, he didn't want to disturb her, though the moment his fingers interacted with her hair he had done so, that was the moment she woke up, though Rae didn't pursue her line of questioning any further.

"When do we have to be out of here?" Rae questioned Thomas, switching up her line of questioning to when they would inevitably have to part ways with this glorious hotel in which they spent the night within.

"Hm..." Thomas hummed, chasing up that question as he reached over her to his phone, burying Rae's face in his chest temporarily before retracting and seeing the time, doing a very simple bit of calculation to determine the correct time at which they had to leave. "2 hours." Thomas informed Rae that the checkout time for the room was 10:30am, to which Rae instantly groaned before Thomas continued. "In that case, why don't we go and take a shower... together? And then we can get some breakfast on the way home." Rae's entire displeased disposition disappeared once Thomas had mentioned their morning shower, needed for them both to reduce the risk of catching a Sexually Transmitted Disease, instead Rae bit her lip seductively and nodded, pleased at the idea. "Good." Thomas remarked to Rae.

With their morning planned out, Thomas slowly sat up in bed and took Rae's hand, to which Rae grinned widely as Thomas pulled on her hand while they both rushed into the high-end bathroom, still giggling to each other as it was made fully evident as to what they were about to do with each other.

10:30am

Thomas and Rae had just gotten home from getting some breakfast together at Starbucks, they had left the hotel an hour early, a half hour after they had finished their shower, though their shower together only lasted half an hour, that's not to say they didn't... indulge, in their endeavours, it was quite the opposite actually, but unfortunately, Rae and Thomas must now get back to their regular, slightly boring lives, though at least they were made just slightly less so together.

They both walked through the front door of the house together, not thinking much of it though they were immediately greeted by Rae's mother. "Oh, you're back, and you just came home together?" Rae's mom questioned them both on why they were coming home together since they were out at "separate" places last night, or at least that was the lie that she had been told, luckily Rae was quick with her tongue to then make up another lie.
