1.21 ! Valentine's Day !

A/N: This'll probably be a shorter chapter, there might be a smut section but it depends how I feel when I reach that point in the chapter, I might just gloss over it and elude to the fact that they slept together since I want this to be a relaxing and comfortable special chapter and I don't think I can make smut wholesome, you'll see when you get to that point in the story I guess.

There are mentions of smut and sexual references throughout, as well as mentions to private parts, breasts, ass, penis, vagina etc. there's a tiny, tiny smut section in one place of the story but I'm not gonna mark it since nothing even really happens during that part.

Unnecessarily long, sorry but I can't help it sometimes, I just write and write and write without any consideration to relevancy of the plot, but I'm sure people like the length so whatever I suppose.

*future me talking* this is another 10k+ chapter, not as long as the birthday chapter but it's only like 400 words less, there's something very wrong with me for being able to write a chapter this long in the space of three days straight, oh well.

13th Feb 2022 11:00pm (Syk POV)

"Alright. Well uhm... sorry guys, I really thought that this would be the run." I stared apologetically into my webcam, a solemn expression on my face since we had failed yet another casino heist attempt. "It's fine. Don't worry about it. Yeah I know guys, I just thought this would be over by now." I addressed my chat's attempts to reassure me, though it didn't do much to lessen my feelings of guilt, I really did think this would be over by now, but alas, I guess I thought wrong.

"Well I better go guys, a certain someone's gonna be very disappointed with me if I wake up late on Valentine's Day, and you have no idea how crazy she gets in the mornings!" I said farewell to my chat, the girl I was talking about clearly being Rae, I really loved how we could have our cute banter all public in the past month we'd been official, wow! It's already been a month!

"See you... not tomorrow! Rae and I have plans but hopefully I'll be back on the 15th. See ya guys." I finally ended my stream, slumping in my chair, feeling so drained from GTA lately, maybe I do need a break from playing it.

After a moment or two of thoughts racing through my head, I composed myself and headed towards the bedroom, it was pretty late already and I knew that Rae would probably be asleep, I knocked on the door gently and called her name. "Rae? Are you asleep?" I asked, hearing no response so I just tip-toed inside, being careful not to wake the sleeping beauty lying in our bed.

I saw Rae passed out, strewn across the bed with the blankets tangled around her in such a messy way as if she was awaiting my arrival but fell asleep before that could happen, seeing her like that brought a smile to my face, I gently pulled the blankets off of her, repositioning them so that she was comfortably under the duvet and she readjusted her sleeping position to face inwards towards my side of the bed.

Before I could get in along with her, I first stripped down to my underwear and put on some shorts, then moving over to the bed as I pulled the covers back, slowly getting in whilst being incredibly careful as to not wake Rae, eventually I got in, cuddling up to Rae after placing a gentle, brief kiss on her cheek as she immediately repositioned herself once again, only this time she embraced me, wrapping her arms around my waist and pulling me close to her.

"I do not get crazy in the mornings." After a few minutes of silence and trying to get myself to sleep, Rae mumbled something out, I opened my eyes and hers were still shut, so I closed mine and mumbled back.

"You heard that huh? I thought you'd been sleeping for a while now." My voice matched her level of softness, my breath hit her head and bounced back onto my own mouth, feeling the warmth and being comforted by it.
