2.12 Breaking Point

A/N: Wanted to do a nobody POV so you can get an idea of what everyone is thinking without me having to write the chapter out twice and you having to read the exact same chapter twice.

22nd July 2021 11:25am (Nobody POV)

Rae: "Hey Sykk..."

Sykkuno: *silence*

Rae: "Sykk please! Talk to me?" She implored him.

Sykkuno: *sighs* "H-Hey R-Rae..." He said hesitantly.

Sykkuno: "Wh-What are y-you d-doing here?" He continued.

Rae: "I wanted to apologise. For everything that happened."

Sykkuno: "Ev-Everything? Even the moments we shared? Oh..."

Rae: "No! Of course not those moments!" She raised her voice causing him to jump in fear.

Rae: "I'm sorry... Look these past 10 days have been the best of my life! I understand that you may not feel the same considering everything that's happened to you, the abuse, the trauma the-"

Emma: "Wait! Abuse? That asshole abused you? I'll kill him!" Emma screamed, interjecting into a private conversation.

Realising that she was pouring her heart out to a group of people who had nothing to do with this she asked to speak privately.

Rae: "Can we speak privately? Without these guys listening in on a private conversation? Please?"

Sykkuno: "N-No..." He refused.

Rae: "Sykkuno please?" She begged.

Sykkuno: "I'm sorry Rae... I j-just don't feel s-safe around y-you..."

That was probably the worst thing she's ever heard him say, it wasn't a curse, it wasn't an insult, but it was deeply hurting.

Rae: "We can talk just over there." She pointed to an empty booth that was in sight of the table they were currently sat at.

Sykkuno: "I... I... I d-don't-"

Toast: "If you want one of us to sit with you we can do that." He attempted to ease Sykkuno's agitation.

Sykkuno: "O-Okay... I g-guess..."

Toast: "Okay! I'll sit with you then!" He assured his best friend.

Sykkuno: "N-No!"

Corpse: "M-Me? You want me to sit with you? I mean I guess I cou-" He hesitated.

Sykkuno: "I don't want either of you..." He said, gesturing to Emma sitting between them.

Emma: "What the fuck? You want me to sit next to you? Why?" She asked abruptly.

He didn't want someone who was biased, from what he could understand Toast seemed biased towards him whilst Corpse seemed biased towards Rae, after all it was him who brought her there.

Sykkuno: "Ne-Neutral gr-ground..."

Emma: "Neutral ground? The fuck is that?"

Rae: "I see... He wants someone who isn't involved in this... Whatever this is..." She understood him very well, after all they did share a brain cell.

Sykkuno: "Mhmm." He hummed, nodding his head.

Emma: "Oh.. I mean I guess I could just put my headphones in and sit there while you talk privately."
