1.25 ! Not The Intended Proposal !

A/N: As you might guess by the title, this is indeed the proposal chapter, where Sykkuno will be proposing to Rae after a year of dating on their first anniversary!

Also side note I don't actually think this chapter will be that long, maybe I'll be wrong about this, by the way when I say that I mean it probably won't be over 10000 words, and there's no SMUT section in it, that's probably why tbh.

Wednesday 12th Oct 2022 9:00pm

It was the night before their 'special' day and neither of them could take their mind off of it, they were simply lying beside each other in bed, just gazing into each other's eyes in complete silence, seldom a blink or an averted look, when the corners of Rae's lips tugged upwards to form a smile Sykkuno's then followed, mimicking her smile as if they were each looking into a mirror, though when Rae began giggling out of the blue Sykkuno didn't do the same, instead he questioned what was up.

"What?" Sykkuno questioned Rae.

"Nothing, I just, I can't believe it's our one year anniversary tomorrow, it doesn't feel like it, I can't wait." Rae explained her sudden giggles as she expressed how unlike their first anniversary it felt, a sentiment that Sykkuno also shared.

"Me neither." Sykkuno agreed with Rae's remarks about not being able to wait patiently for tomorrow, to which she had a good suggestion.

"Well? Why wait?" Rae asked Sykkuno on why they were waiting like this when they could do something to fast forward the hours into the next day, they could sleep.

"You're right, good night babe." Sykkuno saw reason in her suggestion as he said good night to the woman, who then returned it.

"Good night to you babe." Rae returned Sykkuno's remark, sharing one brief kiss with the man before they both cuddled up to each other and then fell asleep shortly after.

Thursday 13th Oct 2022 10:00am
-Rae and Syk's First Anniversary-

Rae had gotten a nice, long sleep, something that was always the case when being in the arms of her love, she woke up expecting to see the face of said love lying right beside her like with last night, but she was proven wrong when she opened her eyes, and he wasn't there... but Rae just smiled as a result, a goofy smile as she thought about it to herself.

'Is he really making me breakfast in bed right now? Ugh, he's so sweet.' Rae grinned whilst shaking her head happily, getting out of bed as she then ventured downstairs and into the kitchen, hungry for whatever Sykkuno may have been cooking up for her, hopefully it was pancakes, or waffles, Rae licked her lips thinking about either of those options.

Once again, even though Rae had expected to find him there in the kitchen making food, she was surprised to learn that he wasn't there either, she wasn't smiling, thinking he was in some other place doing some other thing, she was confused, resolving to find Sykkuno, Rae checked the entire house, inside and out, the bathrooms, bedrooms, streaming rooms, even the pool, but after a thorough search, it was evident that Sykkuno wasn't in the house at all, now Rae was worried.

She opened her phone and went into her text messages, asking Sykkuno on where he was after.

Rae: Where are you?

Rae: Syk?

Rae frantically questioned him after not receiving answers, luckily it wasn't long before the man on the other end had opened the message and read it, taking 30 seconds or so to reply with a longer message.
