1.14 Final Confrontation Pt. 2

A/N: Part 2 of 2 of the final chapter of this story.

7:45pm (Sykkuno POV)

The first thing I saw when I entered the house was Mika and Naru running to the front door, lightly scratching at Rae's feet before she knelt down to pet her, the house looked great! It was open plan which is always good and there was a fairly large kitchen island in the centre of the kitchen that was great for cooking on, the lounge was a decent size with a large flatscreen TV mounted on the wall, surrounded by marble, it sat above the fireplace which looked to be electronic meaning no accidents could occur from it. The dining room was next to the conservatory which had sun beds in it to relax on a nice summer day, the backyard had an average sized pool as well as a hot tub, there was even an outdoor shower, that's something I've never seen before, it also had a nice Koi pond that we could fill with fish. All in all it looked like the perfect house to live in, even better for raising a child, though we weren't quite at that point as of yet, but maybe, just maybe, it could happen one day.

I was brought out of my daydreaming session by Rae squeezing my hand tightly indicating that she was feeling scared, I could hear a man's voice coming from upstairs and assumed that it was his, Rae quickly devised a plan for Tina, Corpse and I to follow.

Rae: "Alright here's the plan! You, Tina and Corpse are all gonna sit in the dining room while I talk to Michael (Sonii) in the living room, they're right next to each other so that way if he tries anything you guys can quickly stop him!"

Sykkuno: "Don't you want me with you in there?" I said puzzled.

Rae: "I'm gonna tell him that I'm breaking up with him and then you can come in and I'll say that I'm in love with you now!" She said, rubbing the back of my hand with her thumb.

Sykkuno: "Only if you're sure!" I said sternly.

Rae: "Of course baby!"

Corpse: "So what are we here for?" He interrogated.

Rae: "Michael said that if Sykkuno ever came between us that he'd hurt him, or me..."

Corpse: "You think he's actually capable of that?"

Rae: "I do... And if he tries to do anything to either of us I need you guys to be here..."

Tina: "You want us to hurt him!?" She said manically.

Rae: "No! I just want you to help him realise that if he tries anything that both of you guys are witnesses to it, and that if anything does happen to either of us, he'll be going to prison for a long time..."

Corpse: "Okay we understand Rae... But if he does do anything bad, I'll get him!" He says, pulling out his butterfly knife.

Tina: "Yeah! We'll get him!" She says, pulling out a matching one.

Rae: "Well hopefully it won't come to that..." She sighed.

Sykkuno: "Guys? Could I have a moment alone with Rae please?" I asked Tina and Corpse.

Tina: "Of course! We'll go wait in the dining room." She says dragging Corpse to the other room.

Once they had left I turned towards Rae and took her other hand, rubbing the dorsal sides of her hands and I stared into her eyes with worry, something that she quickly picked up on.

Rae: "Don't worry baby! I'll be just fine!" She exclaimed.

Sykkuno: "But what if he tries something? I've only just gotten you! I've been waiting two whole years for this, for us, and I don't want to lose you!" I said as my voice started cracking.
