Chapter~10 Oh please, you drive like a granny.
"He was my North, my South, my East and West, My working week and my Sunday rest."
~Stop All The Clocks by W.H Auden
"You're crazy, Abigail. Literally crazy and I'm not even joking," Callum chuckled as he splayed across my bed breathing hard as if he had been chased by the dogs all the way from my home to this castle when in reality he has been laughing from the past 30 minutes.
"Tell me something I don't know," I rolled my eyes as I combed my hair with a brush and applied a strawberry flavored chap stick on my lips.
"You don't know how pissed Warren is right now. I hope Jade is okay, though," He said, amusingly as he propped himself up on his elbows to have a better view of me.
"Is he? I guess I did great then and don't worry Jade is strong," I did a mental happy dance on receiving that wonderful information from Cal. I didn't even do much, honestly and he's already pissed off. Oh my, aren't I just WONDERFUL? I know I know, thank you very much.
From the past half an hour, I had been reciting the whole incident that took place between me and Warren before we went down for lunch with his parents and seemingly, Cal found it really hilarious that he was willing to blurt it out to Jade over the phone but couldn't when I snatched his phone away from him, fearing Warren might over hear or something, since Jade was with him during that whole time.
I don't want my life to end right now, when I'm having the time of my life!
"So are you ready to go? I don't think we should make him wait when he's already acting like a mad man," He spoke, a glint of amusement in his green eyes as I found myself giving a once over in the mirror before answering to him, "Yup, I'm all ready to make him even more mad, don't worry,"
We glided down the stairs in no time grinning like 5-year olds who were about to have a ride on the see-saw. Well, I don't have a problem with a see-saw but I guess Warren won't ever let me ride one.
Mental note- Ride on a see saw with Warren.
The foyer was once again, silent as it was when I'd first arrived here. I was assuming that Warren's parents were resting in their rooms as they had just returned from a long trip. I really liked the sound of laughter and gossiping though. After all I'd been raised up alone, without a brother or a sister to play with when I was bored.
We skipped to the huge double-doors of the mansion as Callum shut them behind once we stepped out into the warm and moist air of afternoon. It was a nice day without the harsh glare of the sun like normally and I found myself sighing contentedly as I was venturing somewhere out and away from this boring quiet place lacking human beings after 2 whole days.
A sleek white car rolled up in front of us having its windows tainted with black and my jaw almost dropped to the ground as I realized what I was seeing at the moment.
"Hakuna Matata! IS.THAT.A. LAMBORGHINI?!" I practically ran towards the car wanting to hug it and feel it under my fingers. I circled the car with my eyes wide and mouth hanging open as I admired its beauty. Apparently I had a thing for cars and buying a Lamborghini was among my top 10 to-do list. But now I was about to ride one! I almost had the mind to jump around like a kangaroo and shriek out at the thought of being lucky enough to be able to sit in this fine thing before the driver's window rolled down and none other than the jerk poked his head out of it wearing a pair of black shades ,in which he looked ogle-worthy (not that I'm ogling or anything).
