Well, hello to my lovely lovely readers out there, I am finally here with a brand new chapter of Troublemaker! And guys, we are on NO.7 again! Can you imagine? Thanks for that though, and also for waiting so patiently.
You know what? I just got my grade 10 results yesterday and I'm so happy that I got what I wanted, like I passed with flying colors with all As! So I actually had my relatives over at my house yesterday since it was mom's birthday too and we had a little celebration.
Anyways, here you all go. Though I think it may be a boring chapter but but BUT you can't even guess what's about to happen in the coming chapter. I mean you can but yeah whatever just enjoy it nonetheless :D

Chapter-29 Like I said, a liar.
"Wait!" I called out before we could dash out of the room and in response, he turned around to glance at me with a raised eyebrow and I swear my heart skipped a beat.
"Let me get Aqueela's heels. She'll kill me if I left them here," I grinned awkwardly, scratching the back of my head as I rotated my head to look for the certain black colored heels which were extremely close to Aqueela's heart, as she had put it earlier.
Warren sighed deeply, rolling his eyes as he snatched my wrist once again saying, "Abigail, are you trying to get yourself killed? Let's go,"
"But-"
He practically ignored me before he dragged us out of the store room, with my gaze falling over the body of the vampire who was lying limp and stationary on the floor, blood oozing out of his wounds, creating a grotesque sight.
Our footsteps echoed in the eerily silent and poorly lit hallway as we ran and ran, without pausing and I had to pump my legs harder to keep up with his remarkably long strides. The perks of being a vampire.
"Can you-be a little slower?" I was totally out of breath by now, my lungs burning from the lack of oxygen in my system as my legs ached from attempting to go past my limits.
As soon as the words slipped through my lips, he halted mid-step, his boots screeching as a result of which I ran into his muscular back, grunting when my nose became sandwiched in the process
"Hey, a small warning could've-" I was about to complain when he swiftly turned around to face me, his eyes a sparkling grey as he put a finger on my lips to keep me from opening my mouth, all the while not breaking the eye contact.
"Don't," he warned, his tone husky and deep, causing a shiver to crawl up my spine and I swallowed the lump in my throat, before shaking my head in a slow nod.
The thudding of boots as they made contact with the wooden flooring resonated throughout the hallway and my eyes widened on their own accord as I realized how close they were.
"Warren, they-they're coming. Why are we still standing here?" I exclaimed, completely and utterly terrified as my mind wandered off to different possible scenarios that were going to take place in a matter of seconds right here.
He dipped down to land a small unexpected peck on my lips, leaving me stunned and stock-still for a moment before I regained my senses, butterflies swarming my stomach and heart thudding violently. With my mouth hanging open in surprise, I managed to land a punch on his shoulder but as expected he didn't even wince, just gazed at me with amusement flickering in his eyes.
"Do you even realize what situation we are in, you dumb head?" I jabbed a finger in his direction but he just scoffed before he encircled his hands around my waist, pushing me behind him and stood in front of me in a protective stance.
