I just wanted to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU who took out the time to vote for this book. And its all because of your support that we've reached #163 on the vampire what's hot list! I couldn't even believe it at first, you know? But when I finally did, I was almost in hysterics. To me it's a really big thing because I never imagined that I'd be able to reach this high.

So thank you, thank you so much for this. I love you guys SO SO much! You've literally made my day and I'm so grateful for this.

Please keep voting! <3

Chapter~27 I am insane about her.

"Take care of yourself, Abigail. I'll only be a call away in case you need me. Good night," Mr Davis passed me a kind-hearted smile, before walking out the door and leaving me and Callum alone in Warren's room.

All along the way, Callum had been pestering me about how I'd broken my promise and decided to venture into the battlefield unarmed even after being aware of the fact that they were all vampires whilst I wasn't and here I quote his words 'It would've been just a matter of seconds before you'd be as good as dead'.

"Dr Davis is a human?" I couldn't help but ask.

"Yep. Don't worry he knows about us and its all cool," he waved it off like it was not at all a big deal and we settled in a comfortable silence, while Callum handed me a glass of his special hot chocolate that he'd made just for me after much deliberations.

"What is that dent in the wall?" Callum's voice echoed in my ears as I contently sipped my hot chocolate. However, as soon as I registered his words, I nearly dropped the mug from my hands.

Straightening my back, I acted as though I hadn't just heard what I just did and flipped through the novel, the words printed in black ink coming off blurred and incomprehensible.

Oh god, why me?

Callum cleared his throat, causing me to reluctantly meet his amused gaze as he thrust his thumb in the direction of the dent, a smirk forming in his perfectly carved out face. I sighed, rolling my eyes as I answered his silent question, "The usual.Warren got angry, what else could it be?"
