Chapter~7  You are a loser and you'll always be one.

"He's more myself than I am.Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same."

                                                                        ~Emily Bronte

"Hey Abigail, are you hungry or something?" Asked Cal, from beside me as I stretched my sore arms causing some cracking sounds to resound in the room, getting comfortable in the couch where we both were sat at the moment. My eyes closed on their own accord as my head came in contact with the head of the couch and right now all I wanted to do was sleep with my teddy bear.

"I'm tired. Would you mind doing all the cooking yourself?" I asked. I was hungry as well but being me, I didn't have the heart to get up and move my butt to the kitchen. Yeah, I'm that lazy.

I heard him chuckle from where he sat. Popping one eye open, I tried to comprehend what was so funny. He dropped the controller of the video game we were currently playing before Callum's stupid stomach growled, crying for food.

"Don't expect me to do all your work just because I kidnapped you. I refuse to pay such a hefty price for that when it wasn't even my fault." He smirked, as he stood up from the couch and took one step closer to me. In the mean time I was able to open both of my eyes, only to give him a stern look.

"You're a douche bag, you know that right?" I took the hand that he offered to me, to howl myself up from the comfortable couch.

"Been told many times, don't worry. Now tell me what would the princess desire to eat?" He cocked an eye brow at me as he led me to the door of his grand room.

It's been 2 whole days since I've been here, in this immense castle like place and I have done a fairly nice job memorizing a couple of rooms and places in this house, for a slow learner like me. This mansion was immaculately built and kept. Each and every thing was so perfectly maintained that you couldn't pin point the fact that it was built 7 years ago. At least, I couldn't. I had learned that Callum along with his BFF Jade had been living here since 3 years but he didn't exactly tell me what his job was. "I just work for the prince," were his exact words. He told me that weirdo was new here and that he joined a few months back. In my 2 day stay here, I didn't have the fortune to bump into any other soul other than of course Callum, who never seemed to leave me alone. It's a good thing he wasn't irritating or else I would've flipped him off the first day only. However, the fact that the royal family hadn't returned for me yet, made me uneasy.

Did I do the right thing in believing Cal? Was he tricking me? He wasn't, right...?

Shaking those disturbing thoughts away, I concentrated on the stairs, that we were gliding down.

"I would like to have a burger if you don't mind, loser." I laughed at the nick-name I gave him, upon my arrival earning a death glare from him. "You're a bigger loser than me."He replied, pasting a smug look on his face. "As if I'm going to believe it." I scoffed, smiling brightly.

"Do you have any idea on how to make a burger?" questioned Callum, as we reached the enormous kitchen of this enormous house. Exactly, everything was enormous about this place.

The kitchen felt so out of place considering the professional and sophisticated environment of the whole house. One could never feel welcomed here. It still felt so strange whenever I went for a tour of the house. However, the kitchen, right from the start, emitted homely vibes just like my home used to. It sure was messy but at least I didn't hesitate in running around with dirty sneakers back here. It felt comfortable to be here and just cook. Almost everything was hidden in the white designer cupboards or cabinets. One could only spot a few equipment's like cutlery set, chopping board, oven, chimney etc from the threshold. There were white marble tiles upon which counters made of granite were built, consisting of drawers or small cabinets. The floor was polished and pristine without a dirt particle visible. Even the counter tops were spotless and shiny, complimenting the overall cleanliness of the room which was exactly opposite to how I kept mine. All in all, it seemed exactly how I'd last seen it.
