Sa sobrang tambak ng kailangan kong basahin halos hindi ko maisip na dumaan sa moving on phase. I got no time to cry or throw myself a pity party, but Ate Trix was so persistent we go out. Pinagbigyan ko na lang.We were so wasted that night, sagot naman lahat ni Ate Gab, which is always. Si Riley naman balak n'ya akong isama sa pagbubundok niya, I refused, pero parang nagtatampo na si gago, akala mo marami din siyang time magbasa.
We went to that hike, pero kahit nagpapahinga sa bundok, nagbabasa ako. I was annoyed too, Kuya Calix kept teasing me. Tss, as if s'ya hindi nerd. He's the top 2 in their batch, lowkey humble lang si gago.
"Walang masakit sayo?" Tanong ni Kuya Calix. It's been a week since that hike, ang gago ni Riley, frat pala nila 'yong nag-organize no'ng hike, sinama lang n'ya ako.
I carefully eyed him. "Why are you here again, Kuya?"
He smirked, but the asshole rolled his eyes when I repeated the question and stressed the word 'Kuya'. What's wrong with that, matanda naman talaga s'ya sa akin. His younger brother, Kuya Marco, is my sister's childhood best friend, then their youngest is my age, and he's my friend, too.
"May kailangan ka?" Nakangiting tanong n'ya. "Samplex? Digest? Or anything?"
"Kuya Miggy already sent his, I'm okay with that."
He sipped on my coffee, ugh! The audacity. "Recent ba 'yong kanya?"
"I haven't checked."
Dumating naman si Riley galing ata sa CR. It was so evident when his eyes widened when he saw his cousin with me. Iba' yong tinginan ng dalawa, I even caught Riley smirking at his older cousin.
"Anong meron, Kuya?" Tanong n'ya, pero halata ang makahulugang tono n'ya.
"Wala sila Miggy at Trish," sagot n'ya. Bumaling naman s'ya sa akin. "Anong oras matatapos klase mo? Dinner tayo after?"
I didn't answer. Riley was just staring at me. I didn't mind them both.
"Nevermind, sunduin na lang kita pagkatapos." Sabi n'ya sabay tayo.
Agad ako pinaharap ni Riley sa kanya. "Is he really serious in helping you? Talagang magpapanggap s'yang boyfriend mo?"
"I didn't say 'Yes', and besides why would I prove something? I don't care what Troy wants, I'm done with him."
He held our stare. "I can't read you sometimes. But, your asshole ex kept on texting me. I even saw him outside the school last night. Hindi lang kayo nagkita kasi sumabay ka kila Kuya Miggy pauwi."
"Tss. As if I'll give him a chance."
He playfully angled his lips. "Si Troy or si Kuya Calix?"
"Oh, shut up! As if seryoso si Kuya Calix. How bored is he anyway? Wala man lang bang backlog 'yon?"
"Well sabi sa frat, magaling talaga s'ya. Even with his recits, minsan nga daw bluffing na natutuwa pa 'yong ibang prof."
Tss. I admit Kuya Calix is kinda handsome, but not my type. His aura screamed naughtiness and the typical fuck boy look. I think sa kanilang magkakapatid s'ya ang pinaka babaero, based sa mga naririnig ko kila Ate Trish at Ate Gab. Their youngest is way better, but he's my friend, and I don't do friends, hassle.
And the fact that he's bluffing about him helping me already threw me off, from the past weeks na random s'yang dumarating sa harapan ko, alam kong iba din mga galawan at gusto n'ya. Is he seriously thinking that he'll get something from me? I will never be one of his girls that cry a fucking river when he decided to leave. I'm not for that. Tama ng naloko ako ng isang beses.
