Few months before my graduation, we rarely saw each other again. He got another high-profile case and I got busy with my exams and arranging a few papers as part of the final requirement for graduation.

"Last exam then we're done with this shithole," Niko exclaimed. "I need a break before our bar review!"

Kylie agreed. "Yeah. I need retail therapy. Just one Chanel  can't heal my mental health."

"Same. I have aged like 10 years since first year," Audrey added. "I need two Dior bags and one Gucci bag to heal my mind."

I laughed. "Mga baliw!"

"Bakit ikaw? May plano ka ba after bar?"

Nanahimik ako, should I tell them? Pero dapat sa parents muna namin ni Calix. I need to keep it to myself, but sometimes I'm too excited with our plans that there were days I'm tempted to tell Rylie or Xandro.

"Wala naman," sagot ko. "Probably work or masters?"

"Ikaw?" Tanong ko kay Cliff.

"I'll go to New York, and I might pursue masters there," he answered. "Or work?"

"I want that too," Kylie uttered. "Twin, can we go?" She asked Niko.

"We need to consult dad," Niko answered. "I'll let you go if you really want."

"Eh ikaw?" Tanong ng kapatid.

"I need to work in our firm," Niko answered. "Maybe, I'll just pursue masters here?"

"Ako hindi ninyo tatanungin?" si Rylie. "Mga hayop kayo, minsan iniisip ko hindi ko kayo barkada."

Natawa si Niko. "Sorry, brother. Loyal kami kay Yca eh."

"Ulol mo!" Inis pa ring sabi ni Rylie.

Their plans went on until it's time to take that last exam of finals. Ang bilis lang pa lumipas ng apat na taon, when I decided to pursue law, I was hesitant to be honest, I already got a license, bakit magpapakahirap pa ako? But, the dream chased me even in my sleep, and I don't want to regret it one day.

The last exam was okay, I must say. Worth it lahat ng pagod at puyat ko sa apat na taon. The sacrifices were too much, but hell I would never feel this fulfilled if I gave up in the beginning.

"Saan tayo?" Bungad agad ni Niko.

"Damn. BGC, baby!" Rylie shouted then his arm draped on my shoulder.

"Let's go!" Kylie agreed.

We partied like we didn't care about anything. Tapos na lahat, we're just going to wait for the list of graduates, pero kami list ng honors ang hinihintay namin, we were positive it will turn out as we expected it to be.

"One more shot?" Cliff offered.

"Make that two!"

He laughed then gave me two shots of tequila. The shouts and screams inside the bar were so loud but for weird reasons, all were calming.

"Damn, I fucking need a black card from daddy after that exam!" Kylie announced it as a casual thing.

I laughed and accepted the shot she was giving me. "Where the hell is Audrey?"

She shook her head. "I don't know. She was dancing with me a while ago. Baka kasama ng iba."

Pinagmasdan ko ang bar, the coast were safe. Halos blockmates naman namin ang kasama namin. Napatigil ako noong parang nakita ko si Calix, I stared at him or maybe him, but my vision was blurry.
