He held my hand after a few minutes. "Tara na, boss."
Sa buong b'yahe tahimik lang akong nakatingin sa labas, he was saying how busy his day was for today even if it's Saturday. I didn't respond in any of his questions, hindi naman siya nangungulit.
"Ligo kavna, I'll just answer this." He said.
I went to take a shower, a few minutes after he slid the door open and entered the shower with me.
"Ang sungit mo. Anong meron?"
"Bakit nakababa 'yan? Sino naligo dito?" Tanong ko.
"Hindi ba ikaw? Kelan ba tayo huling naligo dito? Sa iyo naman ako nakatira."
I held his stare. "Kanina saan ka naligo?"
"Sa condo mo. Doon naman ako natulog kahit wala ka. Check the CCTV if you want. Tamang hinala ka nanaman."
"Tama?"
He groaned. "Jesus! That's a phrase. Stop this. Ginagalit mo lang lalo sarili mo."
Hinampas ko ang dibdib niya, pero noong uulitin ko ay agad niya hinuli ang kamay ko.
He stared at me before claiming my lips intensely. My anger didn't linger that long when he kept saying sorry even if he didn't do any.
"Still mad?" He asked when he's blow drying my hair.
I was leaning on his leg while he's standing proudly at my back. "Bakit hawak niya ang phone mo?"
"Hawak? Baka binaba ko lang. Saan ba ako nakatingin?"
"I don't know. I think you were talking with Kuya Patrick."
"Baka hindi ko napansin. I'll talk to her next Monday."
I pouted which made him laugh since he saw it through the vanity mirror. "Eh, bakit ang 23 na missed calls? Ang arte mo!"
"Tatlo lang 'yong sinadya ko, noong nasa bahay hindi ko na napansin, we were discussing the Del Paz case."
"Whatever," I mumbled. "Hindi pa tapos 'yon?"
Ilang buwan na ba ang lumipas, akala ko dahil high-profile 'yong case mabilis lang ang mga trial.
"Next trial na."
"And?"
He proudly smiled. "I can't disclose it, baby."
"One day masasabi ko sa iyo 'yan."
His playful lip angled. "Okay. Naniniwala naman ako."
"Tulog na tayo?"
"Bakit may gusto ka pang gawin?" Makahulugang sabi niya.
"Gago! Tama na 'yong kanina. Inaantok na talaga ako."
"Let's sleep then, baby." He said then carried me to bed.
I was playing with his side hair while carefully staring at him. "Hindi ka napapagod na maldita ako?"
