We talked until 2 am, he told me stories about their usual vacations in Cebu. He even shared his experiences during his first year of law school which were mostly sabaw moments. When we talk like that, we forget about how long the conversation was going already.
"Sige na, tulog na. Let's talk again later. Good mornight, baby!" He said with his sleepy voice, too.
"Yeah. Laters."
For the whole day of 25, I was asleep. My yaya fixed and did my luggages for me.
We didn't have the chance to talk that day, nagpasama daw kasi 'yong mommy n'ya na dalawin ang hospital nila sa Cebu, he updated me with his whereabouts. Pati anong kakainin n'ya isesend n'ya sa viber naming dalawa.
By 26, umalis na kami ng Pilipinas. Kasama namin mostly 'yong mga staff sa bahay, and Kuya Theon brought his girlfriend with him. Madaling araw na kami nakarating ng Japan, we just settled a bit and went to sleep. I shared a room with Ate Trix, madalas nga lang para s'yang ipis na bumubulong lalo tuwing tumatawag si Kuya Miggy sa kanya.
We went to most places we usually go during our trips here. Unang agenda namin ay kumain ng ramen, kahit ang haba ng pila, it was worth it, waiting for an authentic noodle soup.
"I'm so full," I said while we were in the car.
"Sino ba kasi nagsabi na two orders gawin mo?!" Sagot ni Kuya.
"I just missed it," I answered. "Where tayo bukas?"
"Let's go to Ueno park, next day na tayo mag-ginza?" Sagot ng girlfriend ni Kuya.
"Okay. Sila mommy, saan daw?"
"Can I sleep na? Bukas na lang kwento? I'm so tired, eh."
"Okay. Good night, lil sis."
The next day, we really went to that park. But, I wondered why Calix is not messaging me, chinat ko pa nga si Riley, hawak naman daw lagi ni Calix 'yong phone n'ya.
What made me hate about our distance was when I learned that they went to a club. At may mga pictures pa silang magpipinsan, kumpleto sila. The most annoying part was his classmate was there, 'yong lagi kong nakikitang naka-angkala ang braso sa kanya.
I chose to ignore it. Wala namang kami. Why am I overreacting so much?
The alcohol probably gave me the courage to finally message him. Wala naman na rin ako dapat patunayan, Troy and I were over. I just did things just to spit at him and make him feel that I can easily replace him.
Trinabellagailmontefalco: Kuya, let's end it na. I'm done with my vengeance, okay na. Thank you for everything, I mean it.
I immediately closed my phone, naligo lang ako at natulog na. I had a good sleep, noong nagising kami ni Ate Trish pareho kaming napagalitan. Kuya was scolded, too. Bakit daw hinayaan kaming uminom beyond our limits. Sometimes, I envy how light she is, she's forgiving and understanding, kahit may pagka-maldita talaga.
