For Christmas, I spent it with them.
For our food, we just ordered, busy rin kasi kaming inaayos 'yong opening bukas.
It was close to midnight when we finished. I was a little tired, maghapon na nakatutok ako sa laptop, from inventory to target sales ako ang umayos.
Nauna akong pumasok ng kwarto, I just showered then did my night care routine, I'm still focused on my laptop when he finished taking a bath.
He got the laptop from me, his stares never failed to make me weak. I rolled my eyes but with a smile he swooned me again.
It was just a split second when his hand reached for my face, his thumb gently caressed the side of it, I smiled again and kissed his palm.
"I love you," he whispered before laying me to bed carefully, all his kisses masked the anxiety I'm having for the opening tomorrow. Without words, I know I'm assured of him, of things and of our future together.
"Cali.." I screamed, his eyes never left me when I pulled him for another kiss.
"Yes, baby?"
"Please?"
Without hesitation, he claimed me. It was a passionate welcome for another year. One year of being together, I'm sure he's the one for me.
"Happy New Year, indeed," he smiled after his release. "Happy 1st anniversary, baby."
I smiled then kissed him again. "Happy anniversary. I love you."
He's still inside me, above me and hugging me. "I love you, too, mia bella. Can't wait for the future 'us'."
I bit my lower lip, while slightly parting his hairs. His stares equaled mine, we were smiling like crazy, no words, just our breathing.
I looked at him, dearly. "Marry me after the release of my bar result."
Shock was written in his eyes, his mouth slightly opened. I was nervous with his reaction, ayaw niya ba?
"Fuck! Are you serious? Don't tempt me, I will. I'm just waiting for you."
"I don't want to wait for another two years, let's get married even days after the result. I don't care where, even just the two of us." I uttered. Am I hypnotized? Because, clearly I'm not impulsive, but I'm so sure of him, the future I want is with him only.
His smile widened. "No. I will marry you in your dream wedding. Ako na magpa-plano, I'll plan it during your review and even after, ako na bahala, tell me what you want, pakasalan mo lang ako, okay na ako."
"Ring first," I pouted, then showed him my left hand
"Right," he laughed. "Paano ako magpo-propose inunahan mo ako? Just tell me your ring preference, doon man lang matuwa ka."
