It felt new again, not going to school together. But, this is the reality now, we can't just stop with familiar things for our comfort, we all need to go to the next level. For him, that's the bar, para sa akin itong second year law.
As usual, I was the first to arrive. I immediately informed them that I already reserved seats. I was about to put my notebook in another chair next to me when someone suddenly sat. I just extended another reservation on my right side.
Unang nakarating si Riley, he looked like he lost himself in a dessert. I instantly glared at him, mabilis naman siyang umupo sa tabi ko.
"You look like a homeless person," I commented.
"Well, I have never been home since she broke up with me."
"Emotionally, right?
"Both. Can you just wake me up when our prof is here already? My head hurts so bad."
Yumuko din siya. Nasa pagitan ako ng dalawang tulog. A stranger on my left and my best friend on my right. I'm pretty sure this new classmate is a transferee, his built doesn't fit any of my classmates last semester.
"Well, I should. The thermage should work." She uttered. "Considering it's expensive."
"Is it tolerable, though?" I asked, all interested.
I must say, na-define 'yong features ng mukha niya.
Sinabihan na ako ni Calix na 'wag muna pumasok, but I really missed the school. I'm not complaining, though.
The whole week was like that, pumasok kami para masabihan ng beadle na wala pa 'yong prof, nagyaya na nga mag Elyu si Niko, pero tinatamad si Riley.
Sa weekend, kay Calix ako umuuwi, he's busy with review kaya ako ang pumupunta sa kanya, if I will not go, the asshole will, ayokong masayang pa ang oras niya sa b'yahe, kahit 15-minute drive lang naman.
"Hi!" I smiled when he opened the door for me.
Pumasok ako kahit nakasimangot siya. He kept telling me to go here yesterday, pero bumili pa kasi ako ng mga prescribe books for second year.
"You know the code, why don't you just go here directly?"
"I bought books, then nag-dinner kami ng block," I answered. "I told you, diba, 'wag ka masyado nagte-text, sayang sa oras mong hintayin akong mag-reply."
