"You know. I actually blame you for this." Spencer said through a loud sigh.
"Are you serious? This was your idea!" Olivia shot back with a glare. "C'mon babe, my mom's not gonna be home for another thirty minutes babe, it's gonna be a four whole days cause of my game babe, blah blah blah" she mocked, puffing her chest and arms out. "Now look at us."
She knew it was a terrible idea. Grace had a sixth sense and Olivia knew she should've thought better of listening to her husband. 23 and married or not, the wrath of Grace James was one she didn't want to face.
Looking back to her husband and continuing to stare him down, it took everything inside of her not to smack him as he cleared his throat and added on to the annoyance she already felt.
"Oh well I didn't hear you complaining when we were doing it. Nah, it actually sounded more like "ohh, right there, ahh don't stop" he smirked, heightening his voice to mock her loud moans that he was going to stand by as the reason they were caught.
"If your mom doesn't kill you. I will."
"Sorry." He said as he averted his eyes.
"Yeah you're gonna be. You're officially on lockdown now until you're back from Tampa."
"Woah, wait that's not fair. Including tomorrow that's four whole days. You know I can't go that long." He said feigning offense. "And....I know you can't really go that long either. Especially when I..." he trailed and began to rub up her thigh. He moved closer to her ear, letting his breath hit her.
She closed her eyes and cleared her throat before placing a hand on his chest and adjusting quickly in her seat. The sound of Ms. Grace's footsteps quickly bringing her sense of reason back. "Absolutely not. Lockdown, James. I mean it" her voice falling into a whisper.
"Now. I know you two may think that because you're grown and married that you can be doing all that whenever, wherever but you had better get your mind right if you think it's gonna be happening under my roof. Whether I'm here or not." The matriarch told them with fierce eyes. She knew that six months into marriage, the couple was still excited and in newlywed bliss but she wasn't going to allow the shenanigans to go uncorrected.
"I'm so sorry, Ms. Grace. It was Spencer's idea and it will never happen again." She swiveled her head to her husband. "Ever."
Spencer's look of confusion quickly turned serious when his mother cleared her throat. Turning from his wife to his mom he couldn't help but straighten his back.
"Yes, we're sorry Ma. It won't ever happen again. I want to see 24."
"I'm sure you do. Now I'm going to pick up your brother so we can head to the restaurant and make the reservation we had. Billy and Laura are already there. I expect yall to be there. On time. Behave." Grabbing her purse, she turned to give them a final look before walking out. They kept their best innocent faces on until the door fully shut and they turned to face each other.
"Really, Liv?"
"I already warned you. Now let's go so we make it to dinner on time. I'm starving." She rose from the couch and adjusted her mini skirt.
Spencer's eye couldn't help but catching the exposed skin of her thighs and thinking of the ways they could get away with being just a few minutes late.
Feeling the heat of his eyes undressing her, she turned and took notice of him still sitting and snapped her fingers. "Nope. No way. We're already in trouble. I said lockdown and I meant it, now let's go."
Spencer stood and immediately pressed against her back and let his lips find the spot on her neck that he knew would drive her crazy.
Damn this man. He knows that my spot.
Her arm reached up and found the back of his neck as her head fell back into his shoulder with eyes closing. She let out a shaky breath.
"Okay. Maybe lockdown was a bit harsh. Three-hour punishment may be more fitting." She turned to face him. Placing a hand on chest and pulling away she let her eyes meet his.
The shit eating grin on his face caused her to playfully roll her eyes. He placed a gentle peck on her lips and intertwined their hands.
"Such a hard ass, Mrs. James" he teased.
"Well, someone's gotta do it." She giggled before leading them out the door.
