Olivia counted the steps out in her head and hit the last moves with sharpness. Out of breath, she joined the others in clapping and cheering at finally nailing their routine.

"Alright girls, great practice today. We're looking good for the showcase and it's because of how hard you all are working so pat yourselves on the back and get some rest. Same time tomorrow" Audrey, the dance team captain called out to the team. Olivia waved to the other girls as they walked away and had a smile that covered her whole face as the excitement started to build. Practice ending meant that she could finally see him and it really meant that she needed to move quickly. Packing her bag, thoughts filled her mind and she bit her lip at the idea of being able to spend time with him again. It had been about a week since her and Spencer were able to have some alone time and it had been challenging to say the least. Between their practice schedules and the interruptions of their roommates- it was becoming a block she was not a fan of.

After waiting so long to bring their relationship to the next level, physical touch was a way they connected and quickly learned they enjoyed. As silly as it sounded, being in college now and having more freedom came in handy and only added to the need. Well it had, until Jordan decided to glue himself to the dorm for whatever reason lately moping about being long distance with Simone. Deciding murdering her twin was not the best option, she decided to just be patient with the situation, which was easier said than done. She knew her connection with Spencer had gone way deeper than physical but she had needs and it was getting harder every day as her patience ran thin. Hoping tonight would be the night, she kept her quick packing as she felt her friend nudge her to get her attention.

"Liv, you coming tonight? We're meeting up for appetizers and karaoke, you down?" Her friend Sienna asked as they packed up.

"Uh not tonight. That sounds fun but I actually have plans already, I'm sorry" she apologized, only partially sincere.

"Hmmm...and would those plans happen to be with a certain Spencer James?" Sienna questioned playfully as she wiggled her eyebrows.

"Yes, actually. We've barely been able to hang out this past week and we're both finally free tonight so we're just gonna chill and watch movies." Olivia replied with a light laugh, not wanting to give too much detail or give Sienna the satisfaction of being right.

"Movies. Right." Sienna raised an eyebrow and tried her best to act like she bought it.

"What? I'm serious. Movies only. Thanks to Jordan being the worlds biggest baby and refusing to leave outside of class or practice and Lauren being....Lauren, alone time hasn't come easy lately. It's been a week and probably will be longer." she grumbled.

"Girl if you don't kick that boy out and get you some. Did you say that it's been a week? I'm surprised your fast tail hasn't caved yet from going this long" she joked as Olivia feigned offense.

"I will have you know my relationship is not all about sex, thank you. And we've gone longer so it's not a big deal. Seriously. He's my best friend before anything, the sex is just a bonus" she said, unsure if she was trying to convince Sienna or herself. Truth is she was definitely close to breaking. Once that line had been crossed, going extended periods was not ideal or easy.

"Okay, whatever you say girl. But I'll catch you later, I don't wanna be late" Sienna said as she started walking away.

Olivia picked up the rest of her things and made her way out closely behind her. As she made her way to the door, she felt her phone vibrate and peeking down at the message, she couldn't help the grumble that escaped.
