way, way back then/always dreamed it's you and me until the end, now we can't play pretend, and I'm scared to talk to my best friend/should I stay or let you go?/will you love me when the curtains close?/ Is it just a part we're playing?/cause it don't feel like we're faking/when we're underneath the lights, my heart's no longer broken, for a moment/Just for a moment, when we're singing side by side, there's so much left unspoken, for a moment/....
Maybe, your heart still stops when you see me/maybe it's worth another try, better place, better time

Making her way up to the stage, Simone stood closer to the twins and just had a smile. The smile that still captivated Jordan and made Olivia break into a full out, wide-eyed, smile.
"Oh, oh my god, hi Simone. What are you doing here?" Olivia asked, completely shocked at
seeing her former sister-in-law. Losing Simone had stung and every surface part of her blamed Jordan but deep down, she reasoned that maybe it just wasn't the right time for them. She still held out hope that it would work out some time, some way. The friendship she had found in Simone had been a lifeline at one point. When she had been in a weird space with Layla and still coming to terms with everything coming to the surface with Spencer, Simone had been there. It was hard to see that crumble or become strained from distance and the break-up. Seeing her here gave a glimmer of hope.
"I wanted to talk. To Jordan. I know we left on kind of weird terms, but I wanted to talk to you and maybe clear the air. Completely peaceful, of course." Simone said, her tone completely calm and easy.
Jordan was shocked and still staring. He wasn't sure of what to say but he knew that he would never turn his back on Simone. Even when things were hard or complicated, he'd always give her the time she'd needed. She'd been his best friend and though they weren't together and other people were involved, the love he had for her surpassed that all. Fumbling to find words, Jordan meekly spoke up, "Uh, yeah, yeah. We can talk."
Simone nodded her head gently and gave a small smile. "It's good to see you, Liv. I missed you." Taking a step forward and squeezing Olivia into a hug, Simone relaxed a little at the feel of Olivia's arms tightening around her.
"I missed you too." Olivia smiled as she pulled away. "Now get out of here. Big head over here has some cleaning to do soon, we only have a couple of guys left."
Chuckling, Jordan placed his hand on the small of Simone's back and led them off the stage and to a far corner of the room. Olivia smiled from the place they'd left her and allowed them space. She could see that the conversation was deep from the looks on their faces. It made her weary of leaving them alone but knew that they'd needed it. She stood still, lost in thought until a voice she'd known all too well spoke up.
"When did she get here?" Spencer's whispered words startled her back to reality and the fact that he was the next bid and they had an audience. Even over the chatter of the audience, completely unaware and uncaring of the happenings of the stage, Olivia's vision focused solely on the one person who could always make the world melt away.
