It's me, hi, i'm the problem, it's me. 😬😂❤️

I appreciate the patience, love and support with updates and my writing, more than you guys can ever know...life gets busy but I truly want to get back on track with updates (especially since they got back together and we now have to wait 🥲). It's also almost my birthday, and if there is one thing your girl Rosie Rose is gonna do? It's celebrate! 💃🏻

So I would like to (the plan atm anyways) finish Love's Playbook over the course of the next few weeks and then focus on one shots a bit more. If you guys are still interested! But for now, heres a little idea, that sprang from inspiration I got from the song.

Ignoring the eyes boring into her, Olivia squinted as she looked at the color swatches. Laura, Grace and the wedding planner were all waiting with bated breath.

Apparently table cloths were important to a wedding. Who knew? Also, in Olivia's opinion, who cared? Weddings were beautiful, sure. The planning and all the craziness people put it into were not Olivia's cup of tea. She was all about the present which meant that she never really put much stock into thinking about all those minute details when it came to weddings, houses or the future.

She'd only ever been certain about one thing, and that was already a give-in, thanks to that thing proposing 6 months ago.

Plus, she had given her mom a list and was dedicated to remaining stress-free around it. After having planned multiple weddings, courtesy of her twin, she was set on making sure that her experience was different. Divorce included.

Tilting her head to the side to feign interest, she let out a sigh that she felt was thoroughly convincing. "I like that one", she pointed to a color that her mom and the wedding planner had probably named a billion times. She just couldn't bring herself to care enough to remember it.

"Livi, are you sure? I mean this is your wedding, we want to make sure that it's absolutely perfect." Laura asked, her eyes cautiously going between the wedding planner, Grace and then landing on Olivia.

"Mom, you have my ideas and checklist. I trust you." Olivia waved a hand and smiled, then looking down at her phone to see that her realtor had called...again.

She was grateful for the help but to say that planning a wedding and move was challenging was the understatement of the century. She and Spencer were looking to officially purchase a home. With him having signed an extension with the Rams, they felt planting roots was a smart move. The possibility of a trade was always there so they felt having something settled for them and their future was the best idea. Laura's throat cleared and brought Olivia's eyes and attention back to the group.

"Okay, honey. If you're sure." Laura said hesitantly. She knew that her daughter was never one for frills but that when it came to important events or celebrations (specifically that included Spencer) she usually was a planner.

"I am. The thing that I care most about is who I'm marrying. All the other stuff is great but that's not as important to me. It just so happens that the man I'm marrying is also very detail oriented so we already kind of discussed what we wanted the general vibe to be. So like I said, we gave you guys our input, so I trust you." Olivia softly shrugged, grabbing her cup of tea and sipping.

"Well, I'd like to think we know our kids well enough, Laura, so let's take what she said and just run with it. Millie, you've got what you need, right?" Grace asked the very eccentric wedding planner.

They'd found Millie courtesy of Asher and Jaymee, but to say that her and Olivia did not always mesh was putting it lightly. Olivia's relaxed demeanor was definitely tested and there were a few times that Spencer had to squeeze Olivia's hand as she began telling Millie where she could shove her save the date options, but overall- Millie was thorough and got along well with the mother-in-laws. It was left at that.
