i kind of got inspired listening to this song and thinking about the way they always have talks in the James living room, so here it is...i wish they would flesh out Olivia's POV more but. 🤷🏻♀️
also shout out to the people on twitter who were saying Olivia's energy in getting him back would be a text and that Spencer would cry and feel so loved because I hate that you're right. Just hilarious. 😭

"Oh my god, no!" Coop threw her head back and sighed deeply.
"Not again." Layla cringed, closing her eyes to take a deep breath.
"Well, Liv is awake." Patience rolled her eyes.
The sound of music began blaring through the house and could be heard all the way from Olivia's room, alerting them to her being awake. It had become a sort of routine and schedule in the girls' house.
Music blaring meant she just got up. Then silence while she ate. Music again while she silently slammed away on her laptop keys. Silence while she ate again. Music as she sketched until the late hours and then finally silence again when she scrounged a few hours of sleep together.
The trio had been trying their best to be supportive but where only met with shoulder shrugs, mumbles of "I'm fine" and the occasional glare if they mentioned taking a break from her computer, so they eventually agreed to let her process in her own way and time. All the while, they all secretly held deep-seated hope that the break-up was temporary and that their friends would quickly realize how miserable they were apart and find some sort of compromise. It hadn't happened yet though so they were subjected to Olivia's playlist of depressing music. Yesterday was Un-Break My Heart on repeat. Apparently today's selection was I Miss You by Aaliyah.
"I can't put up with this anymore. One of us has to try again. We can't let her live this way." Coop's frustration had finally come to a head by the second verse of Not Gon Cry. Looking at Patience and Layla and seeing they just started looking around with no response, she knew that it was going to be on her to snap their friend out of the funk that she had gone into in the days since her break-up with Spencer.
"If you wanna go poke the bear, be my guest. But I have some artists I have to interview, so I actually to get going." Layla finally said, standing and heading to the kitchen to grab a water before heading to wait at the door.
"Yeah, I gotta go too. I have a soundcheck before the benefit performance tonight and I'm not trying to get my head chewed off by Liv-zilla." Patience apprehensively let out.
"Weak, both of you." Coop shook her head.
"Good luck." Patience said, putting a hand on Coop's shoulder to show solidarity and comfort.
"I don't need it. I got this." Coop grinned, shooing her friends away and making her way upstairs.
Gently knocking on the bedroom door for a few knocks with no answer, Coop had to apply a bit more pressure to be heard over the music. She was banging and lost in her run through of what she was going to say, when she nearly fisted Olivia's face when the door swung open.
"What's up?" Olivia asked in a tone that was overly chipper. Her mood of choice today was clearly fake happiness.
"Try again." Coop's voice fell flat. She wasn't going to engage in the charade.
"What?" Olivia scrunched her eyebrows, not dropping her facade.
"The fake happy voice. I know your ass ain't happy. Hell, all of Beverly Hills can hear that you ain't actually happy. So why don't you come out of the room and actually talk so that you can work on being happy again."
"Okay, first of all, good morning to you too. And second, I am happy. I mean its been a week and at some point I have to accept the facts. The fact is, Spencer broke up with me and I still have an article to write so there's no use in beating a dead horse."
