i wanted this out last weekend but you know, life be lifeing 🙃. anyways, got a small inspiration from a Greys Anatomy line and came up with this quick little bit so hopefully you guys enjoy!!

"I'm going to KILL YOU!" followed by a loud bang woke Spencer up from what had been quite a peaceful sleep. He had been up late the night before trying to make sure that the Mothers Day surprises he had in store for Olivia were all set. Friends and family were flying in to surprise her and enjoy brunch as a whole family. There would be no errors or mishaps. Not if he could help it. What he hadn't counted on was the chaos that was the Baker twins when they were together.

After a few minutes of contemplating whether he truly wanted to see what disaster awaited him, Spencer finally grunted and made his way downstairs. Turning the corner into the spacious kitchen, he barely escaped being ran into by his clearly agitated wife. A regular Liv was scary. A six months pregnant and parenting a toddler AND angry Liv was downright terrifying.

Wrapping his arm around her waist, to hold her back as she wiggled and shot lasers straight to a wide eyed Jordan, Spencer finally got a word out "Woah, woah, woah, what is going on?"

"Psycho over here was trying to ram me with a frying pan!" Jordan cried.

"And I would be able to, if you would let me go," Olivia gritted, turning her eyes to the side and glaring at her husband.

"And let you go to jail for murder? Not likely. So chill and tell me what happened."

"He happened!"

"Okay baby, you gotta be more specific than that? What is it? Another marriage? Car crash? House fire? Pregnancy scare?"

Jordan threw his hands up and scoffed in offense, "uh woah, excuse me."

Spencer just stared back.

"Fair enough." Jordan knocked on the counter and nodded his head.

"It may have to do with me" a voice spoke, the nerves in their voice obvious.

Turning to the side of the kitchen he hadn't even gotten a chance to peek at, Spencer's mouth went slack at the sight of Kia. But Kia in Jordan's oversized Beverly High football shirt. "Kia?" he said in a mix of shock and confusion.

"Hey, Spence."

"Oh don't you, "hey Spence" him, you better start talking!" Olivia practically shrieked.

"What is there to talk about? We're two consenting adults, it happened, no biggie."

"No biggie? NO. BIGGIE." Olivia enunciated as her voice rose, Spencer conveniently struggling to hold her back. He may have wanted to see how this would pan out. He had money on his wife, pregnant and all.

"One rule, Jordan! One! No more best friends and you just had to put your nasty little....THING in my best friend!"

"Hey, not little, thank you" Jordan put his finger up in defense. "And like I said, it was casual and consensual, no big deal. And um, last time I checked you married my best friend," Jordan then glanced at her growing belly, "and clearly other stuff."

Spencer shook his head, putting his hand to his neck in a "cut it" gesture, and then just winced as Jordan continued. The whole getting together thing and interruptions from Jordan was still a sore subject for Olivia.

"First of all, my best friend first. Second, it's a little different when we actually LIKED each other! Are you trying to run through my old bridal party?"

"I mean technically, the wedding was like a thousand years ago, girl." Kia tried to offer, squinting in fake concentration.

"Not the point," Olivia threw her hands up, "and what about Darnell? I thought you guys were getting back on track now that he was back on the West Coast?"

"We're still in a weird place. Currently not together, just to be clear."

"And you know that I've been struggling ever since Layla." Jordan tried to fake pout.

"Shut up Jordan." All three other adults spoke followed by some eye rolls and scoffs as a brief moment of silence and awkwardness came upon them.

"Okay, so let me get this straight." Spencer finally spoke again. "So, you flew in last night," he pointed to Kia, who simply nodded.

"You flew in yesterday morning?" his glance going to Jordan, who gave a sarcastic thumbs up.

"And by last night, they were apparently smashing genitals." Olivia deadpanned with a fake, tight lipped smile.

"What's that, Mommy?" a sleepy voice spoke up, disrupting the chaos that had broken out. Maddy had creeped up and was extremely confused at why all the grown ups were being silly and running around.

Releasing Liv and scooping up the sleepy toddler and brushing the mangled curls from her eyes, Spencer placed a kiss on his daughter's forehead. "Those are what Uncle Jordan is about to lose if he doesn't stop playing with Mommy's temper" he murmured just loud enough for Olivia and Maddy to hear.

Maddy shook her head as though she got it. She really just wanted the waffles that her Auntie Kia was currently blocking.

Shooting her husband a sarcastic smile and then taking Maddy from Spencer, Liv took a deep breath before continuing, "You know what? Fine. If Darnell wanting to still act like a fraternity brother and Layla calling off the engagement means that you two feel like your best thinking is to hop into bed and swap saliva then whatever. But just know, Kia- he peed in the bed till he was 12. So keep that in mind." Olivia adjusted Maddy on her hip and began to walk away.

"That was like 15 years ago, you jerk!" Jordan gasped and then glared.

"People don't forget." Olivia called over her shoulder.

"So like...you two?" Spencer asked, clearly confused.

"I don't wanna talk about it." Kia groaned, putting her head in her hands.

"I thought we had a fun time."

"Did you?" Kia sucked air through her teeth before getting her coffee cup and leaving to go calm her hormonal best friend down.

Spencer struggled to keep his laughter in.

"Say nothing, Spencer." Jordan shot out.

"12, bro?" Spencer snickered.

"That's all you got from the entire thing?"

"I mean...I kind of married and had kids with your sister, so I'm not one to judge." Spencer raised his eyebrows.

"Thank you!"

"Woah, I just mean that I learned to just mind my own business." Spencer shrugged his shoulders.

"Well I appreciate that." Jordan nodded slightly.

"All though it would've been funny to see Liv beat your ass again."

"I could've taken her."

Laughing, Spencer just patted Jordan on the shoulder, "Sure, J. Sure you could've." He walked away to go help Kia in her mission and then get on with the Mother's Day brunch plans. Standing there stunned, Jordan just shook his head. "Girls" he just murmured to himself before deciding to just go help with setting up.
