A/N: Cringing already, but I needed some spicy sweetness after my attempt at angst and I got inspired listening to the song so here goes nothing! Also...not me being today years old when I found out that Beyonce was singing "lets conceive an angel" in the bridge.... No judgment. K bye!

Fully exhausted from three days away for his final away game in Minnesota, Spencer entered his home slowly and with caution. It was always an event when he came home from traveling and he was excited to see his girls He loved his job but loved being home even more and secretly loved the chaos that came with coming home to his wife and baby girl. The craziness was something he looked forward to in a way.

As he made his way in, he dropped his luggage by the door and made his way up the stairs, bracing himself for the impact of full body contact from a rambunctious toddler and a wife who had teased him mercilessly the entire time he was gone.

He smiled, trying to suppress his excitement and amusement at the antics even after being married a few years. What had started with her dressing in practically nothing as he packed the morning he left had turned into texts explaining how little she had put on in his time away and just how much she missed a certain body part when she was laying in their bed. They had gone back and forth the entire time through text but whenever Spencer brought it up on FaceTime, she conveniently had to go check on Maddy or got a work call. It was a torturous game that Olivia started but he planned to end later that night. The only thing in the way was the end of season team dinner party at his Coach's house. He had tried to talk her out of going but she was insistent they went. He knew his wife well enough to know it was because she wanted to put off what she knew was coming.

He continued up the stairs and still wasn't hearing anything. "Liv! Maddy! I'm home!" he called out. He checked the time to make sure that it wasn't later than he was thinking. 7:00, so way before Maddy's 8:00 bedtime and not late enough for Liv to have fallen asleep. "Girls? I'm home!" Making his way to the last few steps, it wasn't until he turned the corner that he faintly heard the sounds of Aaliyah's Try Again that he knew where they had gone.

"We're in here!" Liv called out from the bathroom of the master bedroom. He smiled and picked up his pace to meet them in there. Poking his head in, he saw his two of his three favorite girls. Maddy plopped down, sitting on a stool and staring up at her mom with a tiny make-up brush in her hand, mirroring his wife. They both turned when they heard his enter and immediately rushed over to hug him.

"Baby! You're home!" Olivia said, squeezing him as Maddy squirmed her way into the middle, reaching up for Spencer to pick her up. "I'm sorry, I didn't even hear you pull up or we would've met you at the door" she added, placing a kiss on his cheek and then lips.

"Mama look, Daddy's here!" Maddy cut in with her arms tightly around Spencer's neck.

"I see that, baby! Are you so excited?"

"Yeah, I missed you Daddy" she said laying her head on her dad's shoulder. He bent his head down and kissed the top of her head. "Not as much as I missed you guys" he said softly.

After a few minutes, of remaining in the hug and Maddy trying to put make-up on Spencer, Olivia spoke up. "Alright Maddy J, I know we're so happy to have Daddy back but do you remember when I told you that me and Daddy were leaving a little while after he got back? We gotta get going soon, so can you go play while Mommy finishes getting ready?" She questioned gently. The pout and immediate tightening of Maddy's grip proved it was going to be tougher than she thought. The guilt of them going out so closely to Spencer's return had hung over Olivia's head and this definitely added to it. It didn't help that she also wanted to put off the inevitable....punishment she knew was coming from her little game. She thought quickly and tried to come up with a resolution.
