"Okay, fifty bucks and I won't ever ask you for anything again." Jordan raised his hands and intertwined his fingers, pointing at Olivia.

"It's actually insulting that you think that I buy that for a second. You ask me for something every five seconds." Olivia narrowed her eyes on her twin. "Also, I'm worth a hell of a lot more than fifty. So definitely no."

"I do not ask every five seconds." Jordan squeaked out.

"Yes, you do. I have a thread of texts and a lifetime of headaches to prove it."

"And I have a lifetime of bruises to prove you owe me"

"I don't owe you, Jordan. And for the hundredth time, no. I think the whole idea of an auction is stupid anyways."

"It's a fundraiser, Liv. And most people like them because they're fun but alright, fine party pooper. I'll have to ask someone else to host."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome" he shrugged, a smirk creeping onto his face as she turned back to her laptop. "I mean, I'm sure that there are plenty of girls who'd love to host the auction. Especially since the school's star wide receiver is the main bachelor."

"Wait, what?" Olivia's head whipped around at his words. She knew that saying no to hosting the football team's auction was in her best interest. It wasn't like she had the best standing with any of the team members after the whole Wade situation but it was magnified now. With the release of the article, Olivia had been cognizant of trying to lay low and remain quiet so no one could tie it to her. So far, it had been working but at a cost because now things were still shaky with Spencer. The person who was once her best friend and a constant was now an awkward and uncertain run-in at most. Despite that, she hadn't known or expected him to participate in the event.

"Well, yeah. I mean, of course one the star player of the team would participate. That won't be a problem, will it sis?"

"No, not at all." Liv tried to play off her growing jealousy and rage.

"Great." Jordan sarcastically smiled.

"Amazing." Olivia matched his smile.

"Anyway, I gotta go because there's a lot to do. You know, finding a host and all."

"Later, dummy."

"Bye," Jordan replied, turning to leave.

"Wait, Jordan!" Olivia stopped him, fidgeting with her fingers and the begrudging tone in her words showing that she was not fully accepting of her defeat.

"Yeah?" Jordan feigned innocence.

"What exactly would the host need to do? If someone was to change their mind and host it after all?"

"I knew you'd see it my way." Jordan's grin covered his whole face.

"Shut up." Olivia glared at him. In her head, she'd tackled him about a hundred times. She knew that he only dropped the Spencer information to get under her skin and get her to relent. She also knew that she didn't care and that a huge part of her heart couldn't stand the thought of Spencer being auctioned off to some other girl. They were in a weird place but that didn't mean her feelings turned off overnight. It was....complicated, to say the least.

"Not very Vanna White of you, sis. But I'll text you the details. You won't regret it." He snapped and turned to leave.

"I highly doubt that." Olivia mumbled to herself as she locked the door of the Baker mansion before sprinting upstairs to her closet. It was time to find another dress.

"Wow, I'm actually impressed at this. For a couple of football bros, you guys actually set up a nice ambiance."

"Ambulances are the last thing we need here, sweet cheeks." Logan Anderson, a 1st string tight end, spoke. It had been ten minutes since he had made his way over to the twins and injected himself in their conversation. Though Olivia had met him in passing, he was not exactly the subtle type. A shameless flirt but harmless at best. Olivia giggled and scrunched her eyebrows at the tipsy player. She wasn't worried about him, it was purely friendly.
