Techno didn't know Connor was Dream's son, his old friend was in prison for who knows how long. He decided to bring the guy in a sonic onesie with him to the arctic but got lost in the chaos on their way out the prison.

Techno have a lingering feeling to go back to look for Connor when he arrived home, he can only hope the boy is fine. There was not much link between him and Connor so he should be fine in L'manburg land. Techno waved at Dream as the prisoner ran into the forest to who knows where. "Hi guys!" Techno's ears perked when Connor managed to find his base.

The pig was a happy man and brought the other into hug, Connor immediately hugging back as tight as he could possible. It somehow felt right to have Connor in Techno's arms... Like when he can bring Ranboo in his arms so the boy can calm down during a panic.

"Where's Ranboo?" Nikki came to view. "Ranboo died! Sam killed him!"

"What?!" While the three discuss about the situation, Connor is slightly forgotten in the tall pig's arms but he is glad that Techno didn't let go of him, something about it felt familiar and he did not want to let it go. The three might have slipped the word about their small group and Techno remembered Connor was in his arms and they looked at him with awkward laughs. "Uhh, Connor? Ya wanna join the syndicate?"

Connor have a dislike towards governments, but he can also have a place to live, a place he can feel like he belongs to so he accepts. He is now part of the syndicate and Techno have to make a copy of his book and gave it to Connor. Connor was grateful for this and he started building a small dirt house and they let him be.

Techno still had a place to go and so he left Connor alone with Phil to get started on their base.

Phil have talked about Techno and Ranboo to Connor while he helps him build his little house. Connor was slightly jealous of Ranboo for having... A father? From what all he could hear from Phil, Techno seemed to have unofficially adopted Ranboo and treated him like his son... Something he have never felt with his own father and his mother was too busy with war during that... time. So he had to survive alone in this hellish country.

Phil took the extra mattress from Techno's closet and gives it to Connor, promising he'll make him a proper bed by tomorrow, for now they'll rest after what just happened this morning. "Have some rest, I'll come get you when dinner's ready." Phil smiles and Connor nods, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck. "Thank you, Phil."

A nap, he take.

As Phil promised, he woke up to Techno gently shaking him and inviting him to dinner. Connor quickly gets up and follows Techno to his cabin. God, he just noticed how cold it is with only just in his onesie, he might need to ask Techno to borrow some of his coat to keep himself warm in the snow biome.

While they were eating, Techno was talking about how he's gonna hunt down Sam for killing Ranboo but he has to find someone first, he might have formed a team-mate with Tubbo to find Ranboo's son, Michael. The man just found out today his adopted son has a son, so that fucking makes him a grandpa. Hah, old. Wait, that makes Philza grand grand old man. Oh shit.

Connor did not mean to notice how hurt Techno is inside so he might have stayed a little longer in Techno's cabin for something, Phil have already left a while ago and Techno is walking around his cabin, picking up ingredients to make potions for a battle, to avenge Ranboo.
