The group members of the Liangyi Martial Club heaved a sigh of relief as they saw Wu Dahu finally came out from the woods.
The night almost fell, so probably they would think that Wu Dahu had encountered some unexpected accident himself in the woods.
But as they rubbed their eyes and witnessed that Wu Dahu was coming with a bear which was much bigger than him on his should, no one in the scene wasn’t putting on a face of utter shock and lowering down their faces to stare at their own “War Trophies”. Right at that moment, they felt much embarrassed standing there.
Well, they had to commit that the quantity of the prey would just pale into insignificance when pitting against the quality of it. The hares and pheasants in their hands now were nothing compared to the giant bear on Wu Dahu’s shoulder.
The curator chuckled and approached to Wu Dahu and patted him on the shoulder, praising, “Our Dahu is a real warrior as always! I am here to announce, Wu Dahu is the winner of this game today. Does anyone have any objection?”
Facts speak louder than words. No one dared to jump out now for any objection, and moreover, it wasn’t the first time for Wu Dahu to win the competition.
Wu Dahu stood there with a plain expression, as if he didn’t feel excited toward the success.
He put the dead bear down, took out the dagger from his side pocket and then used it to cut two of the bear palm off, and said in a low voice, “I take two bear palms my own, you can share the remaining parts of it.”
Then, he walked away directly leaving the group behind.
The curator stared at the back of Wu Dahu as he put on a confusion on his face, he mumbled, “He made it?”
Wu Dahu got home, threw the bear palm causally in the kitchen and went to get himself a nice and warm bath. After his bath, he carried Little Shitou in his arms while telling the whole thing he encountered this noon including the femina man he met in that pitfall.
Song Qinghan wasn’t jealous at all, he definitely knew that this wasn’t an accident by will, and in addition, that femina man didn’t say that he would pledge to marry Dahu. With that in mind, he would consider that his husband just did a good deed.
However, he found himself getting more and more bored at home while Wu Dahu had to practice everyday and engage himself in various social activities. And when Wu Dahu got back home, he was entirely exhausted and possessed less time to have a good communication.
Though he ran a tiny shop at the same time, it only takes him half an hour to sell out all the goods if business was booming that day. And now he got nothing to do at home since they got a servant, the boredom was just killing him.
He finally figured out what the “The Most Lonely Boudoir” meant he had known from the TV series. He WAS indeed right in such a situation right now.
Wu Dahu caught the gloom on Song Qinghan’s face, he approached and then pulled over Song Qinghan’s hand, saying gently, “I will take you there where I found the trace of monk fruits and seasonings.”
Song Qinghan delivered a smile of resignation, he wasn’t cheered up at all and he couldn’t even figure out why.
Wu Dahu was able to conceive of bunch ideas to cheer Song Qinghan up if he has a bad temper and vents his anger everywhere while putting on a show. But he currently got no idea what to do at all since Song Qinghan just kept silent.
After dinner, Wu Dahu lay on the bed and let Little Shitou lie on his chest. He turned his head to look at Song Qinghan who was now “glittering” because of the light given off by the candle, and then suddenly said, “Muhan, how about this name for Little Shitou. Wu Muhan, a good name!” (Mu 慕, means “admire”, so Wu Muhan would mean “Wu Dahu admires Song Qinghan”)
