Brainstorming & A Very Drunk Jae

Taehyung's pov

I sighed, scratching my head as I looked at the TV. I rested my head on my hand, putting the pencil down on the sketchbook in front of me. Ever since the guy named Bangchan showed up at the cafe, all three of Jae's cousins have been on edge. It seemed that the others at the cafe have been on edge as well, on the other hand, all of us at home have been trying to keep Jae's mind off the whole ordeal. I wasn't too surprised when we suddenly got a call from Xiumin hyung, I think Felix told him about what was going on and they asked us to keep Jae from seeing Bangchan. We learned from Kyungsoo hyung that this was the hardest breakup she had ever been through, so they decided to send some kind of care package through the mail for her. We hadn't gotten around to opening it as everyone was so busy trying to get through the week without too many problems. Jae was out at happy hour with her coworkers, they wanted to take her mind off of things so we were expecting her to come home late. At the moment, I was stumped on how to cheer her up. She had been in such a bad mood that almost everything or everyone could easily set her off, last night, she had gotten so angry about the ordeal that she accidentally broke a cup. She ended up cutting her hand on the cup, so Jin hyung took care of her wound while Yoongi cleaned up the mess. She was out of the house with her friend Seulgi and Baekhyun tagged along with them to keep an eye out on Jae, hopefully this outing would cheer her up but I got the feeling that she wasn't going to be easy to make happy. It had been a few days since this all happened and by now, Felix and his brothers had finally gone back home though their father still was out of the country. He apparently had other business to attend to in the U.S. so he wasn't coming back for a while, in a way, it was a relief not to have those three still here.

"What'cha you thinking about, hyung?" My eyes shifted from the t.v to Jungkook who was standing beside the coffee table with a banana in his hand. "How to cheer up, Cub. She's been in such a bad mood lately and it's starting to affect everyone in the house. Haven't you noticed Jin and Joon hyung have been picking fights with Yoongi hyung?" Jungkook took a seat on the couch behind me, "Yeah... How do you suppose we do that? She hasn't been in the best mood to cuddle with or talk to lately." Jungkook asked, "I'm not too sure. That's why I was thinking..." I trailed off, "You want my help with coming up an idea, don't you?" Jungkook quirked an eyebrow at me, "Yeah... I was hoping I could bounce some ideas off of you and the others."

"Bounce what ideas?" My head snapped the left, spotting Hoseok and Jin hyung coming down the stairs.

"To help cheer Eun-Jae's mood since she's been so angry and upset lately." I said, "Now, that's definitely something we need to figure out." Hoseok nodded, "She hardly wants to cuddle with anyone now, she's either always focused on dancing or homework." He added.

"I think what she needs is a little R&R. She's been working and busy with classes. So we just need to give her a little R&R." Jin crossed his arms, "We can make her breakfast, lunch and dinner. Watch movies with her. Or-" Jin stopped when we heard a commotion coming from outside, Yoongi had come out of the kitchen wondering what was going on. The front door was opened and I sighed when I saw Sehun and Baekhyun both holding up Jae. But Jae definitely wasn't herself, she was stumbling over her own two feet. She was slurring her words and muttering profanities as they brought her inside, Hoseok hyung closed the door behind them. "Whoa, what's going on?" Jimin asked, looking concerned as Jin rushed over to the three. "Jae started drinking right after we got to the bar. We tried to get food in her system but she refused to eat it and kept drinking. Saying she wanted to forget about all the stress she's been feeling." Baekhyun explained.

"Oh no.." Jin hyung's shoulders dropped, I knew this was starting to get to him.

"At first, she was fine.. But then she started talking about how bad it hurt for Bangchan to show up again.." Sehun sighed.

"Kit," Jimin went to take her from the two, "My kitty!!" She exclaimed, giggling happily. She pushed herself off of Sehun and threw her whole body at Jimin who instantly caught her. "My pretty kitty.." She smiled, Jimin couldn't help but purr when she started rubbing his ears. She giggled like a little child, "Thanks for bringing her home and watching out for her while you guys were out. You guys can head home and relax." Jin said, both of them nodded and said their goodbyes and left.

"Alright, Pup. Let's get you some water, get cleaned up and get you to bed." Jin turned his attention onto her, he was ready to get her sobered up. Yoongi had gone back into the kitchen by now, deciding to make her some hangover food for in the morning with Hoseok following after him. I think they figured that Jimin and Jin hyung could handle Jae and her drunken state, however, Namjoon, Jungkook and I decided to stay put in case things got out of hand. After all, we were dealing with our very cute but very drunk soulmate. She didn't drink around us often, especially not to the point where she would get drunk. So this.. This was all a first for us to deal with, she didn't like to drink. "No," Jae stepped away from Jimin and Jin, both who looked shocked. "No?" Jin asked, "I said no! I don't want to go to bed! I'm gonna make myself another drink." She said, I immediately knew that this was going to be a very big problem if we didn't get her to sober up and drink water. "No way, are you drinking anymore alcohol. You are going to drink some water, change into pajamas and go to sleep." Jin demanded, crossing his arms. Jae stared at him wide eyed for a moment before her face twisted in anger, "You can't tell me what to do, Jin! You are not the boss of me! I'm going to make another drink!" She snapped, "You're gonna have to catch me if you want me to stop!" She took off running, leaving all of us stunned before Jin and Jimin started chasing after her. Oh boy... This is going to be a very long night.
